Jessica Witt is pro SCAM artist. She claims to be a photographer with over 10 years experience, and has a seemingly nice portofolio to show for it. But it turns out that NONE of it is her work. She has taken the photographs of other photographers who she claims to work with and then passes it off as her own in order to solicit more victims to her scam!
Recently, I attempted to hire Jessica for a photoshoot in Las Vegas. All of her emails to me said that she would be the photographer and she even went so far as to give suggestions where we could shoot.Then she sends over a contract requiring that I send her half of the amount we agreed upon upfront for the shoot . I was extremely hesitant to do so, but I really liked what I thought was HER portfolio. Once she received my deposit and cashed my check she sent me an email saying that some other photographer would be shooting me instead, which was not what we agreed upon. The photographer she wanted to send was straight out of film school with a completely amatuer portfolio which looked like it had been shot on a cell phone. Bad eye, bad quality!
I confronted Jessica about this and she admitted that ALL the work on her website was NOT her own, and that she works with different photographers. In other words, she is a complete scam. She doesn't take any photos and seems to get a deposit to ensure she gets paid for the procurement of these amatuer photoghapers whom I doubt she has ever met. Worst of all, she would not return my deposit depsite the fact that she intentionally mislead me and that our contract was explicitly between her and I, not a third party photographer.
Jessica is dishonest, and a complete fraud. She does not even reside in Las Vegas yet claims to be a Las Vegas Photographer! STAY FAR AWAY from JWitt Photography, Jessica Witt, JLP LLC, or whatever name she's using now.
Most importantly, she trolls Craigslist looking for her next victim. BEWARE!
