I have my resume on several different job search websites. I was contacted via text from a man claiming to be named Jack Williams. He said he was a manger for Zensar Technologies in California. He said he picked my resume out and was interested in me working online from home for Zensar.
Zensar is a real company. However, this person(s) does NOT represent this company. He is a fake. He interview me, on Yahoo Messenger, and hired me. Over the next xouple of days I spoke to him several times on Yahoo Messenger. He sent me a check through regular mail for $2,710.00 I was to deposit it in my checkin acct. This was to purchase the software I would need to do the job from home .
The work was supposed to be data entry type work. He said once I deposited the check he would let me know who to buy the software from. He called them his vendors. Well my bank said the check was fake. I couldn't tell. They said there had been severL other checks from the same person or persons that had been discovered. These people are preying on people who are out of work and needing a job. The bank said this would be turned over to the FBI.
