John Burgess out of Tampa, Fl from my understanding rents out homes all over Florida. The father of my child found out about two of hours homes here Jacksonville from Craigslist. The home he lived in he has to move because the house was actually foreclosed. The address I lived at he did not want to fix the AC (which it needed a whole new unit) & said if I paid for it he would give me credit towards rent. He rooms the person that came out to look at the ac that he's over "82 rental properties on Florida". I had to pay myself to fix the floor which was also used as credit towards the rent. He never sent anyone professional out to fix or look at anything. He never answers the phone. The only time I ever heard from was when he thought I was late on the rent which sent to another account via Bank Of America mistake (that's how you would pay rent) & when my command contacted him. The houses he rents out are in foreclosure/litigation and do not belong to him. The only reason I was able to get out of the fake lease I was in was because I went to Navy legal (I'm a service member). Please please please do not rent from him! He is a scam!
