Jessica Schmitz engineer on a ship is a scam artist!! Put a motocross bike for sale on Cycle Trader and she immediately sent an email saying she wanted it for a birthday present for her daddy. She was working "on shore" and only had email access and could only pay with paypal. She apparently could browse the internet and send emails but could not access her bank accounts. This was very interesting to us since my husband is a captain of a ship and he has never gone "on shore" nor been able to surf the web and not be able to access our bank accounts. if you can look at Cycle Trader you can go online and do bank transactions. We were pretty certain it was a scam, so I googled her name and here I am. Needless to say we will not be selling her anything. Now we are just having fun with it, telling her we want her bank info to verify we know she is legit. Luckily, we caught on fast enough to be able to lead her on and let her think she has us. We have contacted paypal and Cycle Trader regarding her in hopes of no one else being robbed by her. At this point our thinking is, cash only! Read what people write very carefully! That can usually give it away.
Listed a Motorhome for sale on RV Trader.com on Sept 22,2014. Later that evening I received a text message from a Jessica Schmitz who said she was a marine engineer and was out at Sea. Said she was only able to communicate thru emails. She asked for my email address. The next day she emailed me saying she wanted to purchase our Motorhome. She was buying it for her father for his birthday. Said she would buy it thru paypal. I accepted the offer the next day received email for. PayPal saying they had recevied funds from J education Schmitz for our Motorhome. Later that day Jessica emails and says she reached a snag. Says the transporter she lined up needs to be paid up front. So she has added another 1,750.00$ to paypal to cover this cost and would I please send a money gram to Jerome Jefferson 9435 Highway 49 Gulfport Mississippi. 39503
then I receive another email from paypal from Mac Roland who says he is our Paypal representive. He has received 1,750$ from Jessica. As soon as I money gram $$ to Mr.Jefferson and send him a receipt number from the money gram then he will release all the funds into my paypal acct.
thank goodness I googled all the names and found out that this person has been pulling this scam over and over. This scammer used different alias's. Jeanette Mullins, Carol Collamore, Mac Moore.
