Jewelry Design Concepts sent me: OFFICIAL UNCLAIMED $1000 GIFT NOTIFICATION

The post card was delivered to me with my name and address upon it and I was told to contact them immediately upon receiving this notification. So then as soon as I walked my lawn mower back to the house from the mailbox, I did just that. It was around 7:45 in the afternoon of Thursday, July 16th, 2015 when I contacted them. A guy named Michael Angelo answered after several minutes of horrible music that kept cutting in and out, he congratulated me for having an unclaimed gift valued AT OVER $1000.00 and I was supposed to get a really nice necklace too... all I had to do was give him my credit card information and he would get it right out to me in the mail wherein it should arrive in a few to several weeks!!! I asked the purpose of his need to know my credit card information and he told me it was for the processing, shipping and handling. I explained that on my post card it says nothing about my need to pay anything... but the card emphatically stated: "... will be shipped to you immediately upon receiving a simple verbal authorization from you." In the end he emphatically stated that I rejected my gift due to my not giving him my credit card information - I don't have a credit card... it is a debit card and I kept telling him that I would be glad to take care of this transaction if he would just send me the information to my email, and I would pay with PayPal. The young Michael Angelo tried real hard to convince me that giving him the information over the phone would be the most secure avenue to give him my information... I kept telling him that I did not know him from Adam and that I believed that doing business over the internet with PayPal who would insure the transaction was on the level or they would reimburse me my losses; but Michael Angelo could not understand the concept of sending me the information to my email account. I did a diligent search to find out where to contact the "Jewelry Design Concepts" people... but could only find the address with no way to contact them online. I really wanted to explain to these bone heads that I did not waive or give up my right to what they claim is MINE... but I guess that they don't want to be contacted. I wonder if this would fall under the gaming commission? I felt as though it were a form of black-mail because they refused to give me what was and is rightfully mine (even though I never bought a thing from them in the past though they said I did) - unless I gave this Michael Angelo my Debit Card information so that he could go make a car payment with it or whatever they might use that information for... and because I agreed to paying the shipping and such that was not mentioned on the card at all - just that all they needed was "... a simple verbal authorization" from me... I felt dealing through email would be quite honorable. Michael Angelo appears to have disagreed and said that I waived my wonderful GIFT VALUED AT OVER $1000.00!!! which was actually store coupons for H.E.B. and WalMart... then he pretended there was a bad connection taking place - so I hung up before he could. Bass Turd was quite the professional crook in my own humble opinion. I been single for over 5 years and have no desire to get married again or even date for that matter - so who did I buy anything for from Jewelry Design Concepts in the first place... only thing worse than a Lying Thief is a BIG FAT LYING THIEF... Thank you so much Michael Angelo...

This company sent a mailer addressed to myself or current resident. The card told me that I had an unclaimed gift due to a previous purchase. I called the number on the card. and I wanted to know what I had purchased. they said they did not know and said they were going to send me a free gift then wanted my credit card information. I explained I never ordered anything and I Do Not give out my informaion on the phone or internet because I ahve had my credit cards stolen from my mail box. The person told me that she had my credit card on file if I would verify the expiration date. I explained I have never ordered anything and that I wanted to speak to a supervisor to have my information removed. And she got all mad and was yelling at me and demanding my information. I repeated thatI wanted a manger or supervisor. She hung up on me. I calle back and spoke to a man this timeI explained what happened. He seemed polite and seemed that he was going to help until I again woulsnot give my credit card info and told me to call customer service and there is no number or person to call. They apparently have peoples credit card information and will let anyone use it.

$1000 Unclaimed Gift card from Jewelry Design Concepts

I checked Jewelry Design Concepts out online. They present a great landing page, however the few links available don't work well. This indicates a non-professional design. Also, when the link to shop their designs only shows four items. This almost makes me wonder if they use stolen goods and then offer them as a free prize to get your card info for shipping and handling.

Besides, Publishers Clearing House doesn't ask for information these scammers request. That alone should tell us they are not legitimate businesses.

Jewelry Design Concepts: OFFICIAL UNCLAIMED $1000 GIFT NOTIFICATION

Music played immediately upon dialing. It was constantly cutting out. The rep I talked with kept cutting out until I seemed like a prospective client. He seemed nice enough, yet kept asking for my account number. This despite repeatedly telling him I have only .11 in checking and no credit cards as they are all closed. Apparently he didn't believe me because he hears this all day.

The bottom of my card says that I need to "pay only a modest shipping and processing fee". This "fee" was $19.95 which after repeated rebuffs he said he would lower $3 to $17.95. He kept mentioning that by law he had to tell me certain things. Some I know were true laws, but others I think he just made up. He kept pressuring me for a credit card number and supposedly knew what the first digit of my card was (common for all cards depending upon type).

I wasn't very pleased with this and felt it was a scam so I said I would call back when I got the money. His name was ANTON. No last name was given. A previous reviewer talked to someone allegedly named "Michael Angelo". That is SUCH a fake name. Couldn't they at least be more original, like "Danny Smith"?!?

We need to report these people to the BBB, FTC, etc. Maybe we can get them shut down. If not shut down, maybe they will at least get fined and someone go to jail for it.
