We are an elderly couple living on a fixed income who hired John Weaver to remodel our bathroom. He put on a good show at his presentation. That was about the last good thing he did! His work was disgraceful! When we would try to ask him a question regarding a problem we noticed he would say he wasn't "finished" yet and if questioned further he would scream obscenities at us to the point of becoming frightening. As we had paid him a large downpayment we were not sure what to do. He uses unskilled labor to help him, (who I have since found out he fires and does not pay) and over the period of two weeks he had accomplished almost nothing until the last day when he hurriedly slapped down the tile on the floor, glued the vanity to the floor wall and lip of the walk in shower. The grout immediately started cracking, there are holes in the ceiling, paint and grout everywhere and huge dents in the wall where he moved the switchplates from. We fired him the next morning and he was so insanely outraged he barraged us with obscenities to the point where we almost called the police. We have since had to hire another contractor who is working on ripping out tile and repairing all the other mistakes he made. DO NOT HIRE John Weaver, or Fred John Weaver, John Eveningstar or whatever other aliases he goes by. I see by other ripoff reports that he was notorious for this type of work and behaviour in Florida.
