In 2013, someone knocked the door and said they have a program to lower the gas rate. After I sign the contract the gas bill trippled!!! In the beginning, I don`t realize that. I just thought they are part of Consumer Energy.

I live in a apartment. The gas bill is about 70-100 per month before this guy came in the winter. In this year, when my monthly bill reach to 367, I realize there must be some problems. After I called the Consumer Energy, they said this company is a different company. I said:"" I will not pay any cents to this company. I am in a fraud case."" The Consumer Energy customer service said:"" You have to pay full bill to avoid the shut off.""

I called the Just Energy, the customer service said:"" if you don`t satisfy your bill, you should call us earlier, and we would give you the fix rate."" Why don`t you give me the fixed rate when I sign the contract instead of playing the words game with me now?

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, I AM TOTALLY SCAMMED!!!!

We signed up for Just Energy because of them of course telling us we can save more money on our gas bill. We just recieved a bill of $354.20 and a disconnect notice. We called Nipsco to figure out what is going on and they were able to look at what we have been paying with then which had been .38 cents per therm and now we are being charged double that! I would like to note that our idoor thermostat is electronically programmed to be at 65 degrees when heat is running and that is set at that degrees. I was also told by Nipsco that they cannot check or confirm because Just Energy is a different company, that we are now most likely stuck into a contact with these people and obligated to pay these outragious bills. Having 4 children having our services disconnected is not an option, its just sad not that instead of buying my kids Christmas presents I know have to pay this high gas bill or go without heat in the dead of winter.
