Goodman furnace installed by this company 2 years ago. Heat exchanger cracked 3 times. Took 2 weeks of incessant badgering to get the installer out to address the issue. told 3 seperate times, "I'll be there tomorrow" and then didn't show. Finally replaced the heat exchanger once. Worked for a week and cracked again. failed to show up after repeated attempts to contact.
Hired a new HVAC person who informed me that the heat exchanger cracked because the supply and return air lines were not configured correctly. The return supply was only half of what it should have been and the supply was only 2/3 what it should have been, causing heta to build up in the unit and crack the heat exchanger. Replaced the furnace and reconfigured the supplies correctly. Delivers way more heat and has been working perfectly even through this record cold spell. Also learned that the AC condenser unit they installed is drastically under capacity.
Kapetanic has TERRIBLE customer service and apparently doesn't know how to install furnaces and AC units. Just looking to take the money and run.
