Similar complaint filed by another person on this site. Kassab Painting Company (George Kassab-owner) secured money up front from an elderly citizen for home repairs in April 2015. As of July 2015 the repairs have not been started and he told the customer to stop calling him. A third party reached Mr. Kassab and he stated the money would be returned within 2 days. Not very convinced! BBB report also filed and attorney contacted.
Claimed that he was experienced, but as it turns out he hires the least experienced employees. He talks a very good game when he tries to get your business. A bunch of YES SIR and YES SIR but when it comes down to work he doesn't perform to the extent that he promised to you. He takes your money up front and never finishes the job and moves on to the next job. Please be aware of George Kassab and his "company" aka just him! He says he will bring a "team" to get the job done fast, but then shows up alone and leaves to take on other jobs. Makes any and every excuse not to finish or even do the job to the standard you expect a "professional" to do the job.
Painted most of the fence and left one side incomplete as he needed more paint. Promised to come back the next week and finish up but it has been 2 weeks and he cancels every time for some reason. I have stayed home from work 4 days and he ends up cancelling at the last minute. When I tell him to forget about it, he begs and pleads that he promises to do it the next day, only to cancel again. VERY unprofessional and would not recommend. I wish I had checked him out before hand as I never would have used his services. The work he did do was ok, but not worth what I paid for it - lots of mistakes. Shame on me for not doing my homework, shame on Mr. Kassab for taking advantage of people.
