I found Kephra online while Googling "Free psychic readings". What some psychics do is offer free psychic readings in order to show you what they are able to do in the hopes that you will pay for a more extensive reading. So I found Kephra's site while doing this and posted a question for her to answer. She sent me what turned out to be a standard form letter that began "I was very moved when I saw your question, so I did your reading right away. The first thing I noticed was the fact that you share a birthday with my mother, so I felt an instant connection with you." For some reason, that particular statement sounded fishy to me so I thought I'd do a test which I've never done before. I posted a different question using a different name, email account and birthday. Well, I received another letter from Kephra stating the exact same thing at the start of her letter. Amazingly, her mother has more than one birthday. The rest of the letter vaguely addressed my question. I think she has a stack of standard form letters. Each designed to address a different type of issue. Her letters continue using wording designed to lure you into a paid reading with very little "reading" type information. I have done other "free psychic readings" with other psychics and received some that answered my question in full and could be considered a real reading. I have done a couple of paid readings. One was very accurate and one got many things wrong. Anyway, back to Kephra--if she is lying about such things as her mother's birthday in order to engender trust, she's most likely lying about many other things. Since I did not pay her, I don't expect a rebuttal or response.
I would like to say that I do believe that there are people who have true psychic abilities but the vast majority of online psychics are frauds. In order to find a really good one, you need to to research before turning over your money and the amount they charge does not have anything to do with the quality of the reading. Just because one is charging six dollars a minute does not mean that that reading will be more genuine or better than the psychic who charges one or two dollars a minute. Google their name + "scam" or "fraud" or "review" and see what comes up--if anything. There are also a few very good articles online that tell you specifically how to spot the frauds and how to find the genuine psychics.
