Koons Kia of Woodbridge Reviews

  • Apr 7, 2015

My fiance had a 95 mustang that was on its last engine stroke so we decided to go out and get her a newer vehichle, since she has bad credit she looked up a few dealers in the are who work with people who have bad credit. A gentleman (if you could call him that) by the name of graham called us from Koons in Woodbridge so we set up a meet time with him to come down and see about buying a car.

Everyone was so friendly to us while we were there but we spent six hours there just to get pre approved for an 06 jeep Cherokee which had a cracked right side mirror and a chip in the windshield which after we signed all our paperwork we were told would be fixed and that we would recieve a call on monday to bring it down for repairs. Monday rolls around and my fiance calls them and they tell her that the bank decided not to approve our loan and the only way they would was if I sold my truck which is in Colorado so that i wouldn't have any other loans under my name and then told her not to worry after they bought my truck from me she would get approved and before anyone knew they would get me aprroved from another bank (basically back dooring both banks) to get me into a new vehicle as well.

We told them we were unable to do this and that we would bring the car back since we didn't own it and had no approval. So my fiance spent the next week trying to get ahold of them while they were ignoring her calls or when they did answer they were very rude. It's been over a week that we have had this vehicle and have tried to make arrangements for them to get their vehicle back because of the hours we both work and to no avail. So finally she calls them and tells them we want them to come get their vehicle and that it's not ours and we are not approved to have it and they inform her to return late at night and leave the keys in the drop box which is fine with us but we want our down payment back and all our paperwork, at this time the manager tells her that it is their car and since we weren't approved for the loan that there is a $50 dollar a day rental fee that we have to pay.

I don't understand how anyone could screw a young couple over like they have us. I didn't take my oath and I'm not serving honarably in my beloved Marine Corps and neither is my fiance just to get screwed by a poorly staffed car dealership like Koons. Is this what myself and many other service are protecting this country for, the right to get screwed over. I think Not. Don't go to Koons auto in Woodbridge unless you want to get ripped off.
