Legal Help Group Advisors Reviews

  • Jan 3, 2015

This individual conducts a fraudulent and illegal fly-by-night scam operation which does business out of various and/or multiple locations and under changing names, including other known aliases such as "Pinnacle Financial Solutions" and laloanmod.com. He preys upon desperate individuals who fear loosing their homes, or the merely greedy who wish to 're-negotiate' the terms of mortgages they originally agreed to (desperation and greed are what all parasitic con artists thrive on).

Ironically, he's one of the same people who originally suckered clients into toxic loans in the first place and now wants to rip you off for even more by "helping" you modify them.

If you are thinking about using this company to help you refinance your home mortgage with your lender, stop right now and hear what I have to say.

In August of 2013 I contacted Legal Help Group Advisors to try to negotiate with my Mortgage Company, NationStar.

I sent in the forms and paid the fee of approx. $3,000.00 with the "stated", Yes, you qualify for a modification, we need additional info and 3 months finnacials on you. I sent the required docs in and waited. They told me it would take 2-3 months and to be patient.

I called and faxed my contact, Yvette Rodriques, numerous times with her assurring me that it was in underwriting.

I waited several weeks more, it is now January 2014, and I am told that the time limit on the paper work has expired and that the lender needs another three months of info and my Tax returns. OK, sent that in.

Waited, have a new representative at this point.

His name is Alejandro Maldonado. He said he would be representing me with NationStar.

At this point I am having really bad feelings and I decide to call Nationstar to see what, if any contact there has been with my case. Guess what/, they have only a record of a call to be a representative for me and nothing else!

At this point I decided to write letters to the California Distric Attorney's Office, The Better Business Bureau, NationStar and LHGA to put everyone on notice what was happening here.

After calling Mr. Maldonado to find what was happening, he told me thgat this was just the tactics of my Mortgage company and they had just had a conversation with NationStar. He then refered me to Henry Tran of the Documents Dept. Henry said I would be point of contact from now until the case was closed. Great....

Mr. Tran has repeatedly assured me that this last little bit of info is what is needed to gaet the process complete. 9 months of P & L's, LHGA Faxes not working, Henry's phone numbers not working. Now the main number on their site is constantly busy.

Guess what? The whole thing is a Fraud and I got suckered in.

I have documents to show all of this in detail.

I am interested in a class action suit if it comes to that.

In February 2014 I received a postcard from Legal Help Group Advisors notifying me taht I qualified for a re modification for my mortgage. I called the number and spoke to a Stacey Ellis who took my information and sent me an application and several other documents to complete (IRS form 4506, bank statements, proof of income, etc.) Once I completed the requested documents I sent them FEDEX to LHG Advisors located at 150 Paularino Avenue Suite C-127 Costa Mesa, CA 92626 along with 3 post dated checks totaling $3595 as per the contract. After receiving my packet of information I was contacted by Sabrina Lee "underwriter" to go over the specifics of the remodification process. Sabrina told me taht we qualified for a significant rate reduction on our 1st mortgage and a 50-60% reduction of our HELOC.

I was then told by Sabrina Lee I would be contacted by Alejandro Maldanado "processor" to keep my updated as to what is happening with the process every 10-14 days. Unfortunately after my initial conversation with Alejandro all communication on LHG Advisors end ceased and I have to call them regularly to try to get information regarding the process. At no time was I ever told that LHG Advisors needed addtional forms, paperwork, etc. It was not until I spoke to my lender Chase Bank and Bank of America that all they had on file was an authorization for LHG Advisors to conduct business on my behalf.

After learning this I called the only person at LHG Advisors that would actually call me back and that is Sabrina Lee, she informed me that she would contact processing and have them get back to me. I then received a call from Judy Plovie and she informed me that she was now in charge of my loan remodification an she copied Eric Wallace and Henry Tran. I gave Judy specific instructions that I wanted to be kept in the loop on every detail of the loan and that I spoke to the Loss Mitigation department at Chse and BOA and neither of the two lenders have received an application, proof of income, bank statement, for 4506, etc. and all she could say was what was the employees ID#. Chase employess do not give out that info, it is used internally only.

I have saved all of the emails received from the follwing principals at LHG Advisors: Stacey Ellis, Sabrina Lee, Alejandro Maldanado, Judy Plovie, Eric Wallace and Henry Tran and I have sent a blanket email to all of them letting them know that I am thoroughly disgusted with the whole process and that I want a full refund of $3595 ASAP. I also told them in the emai that I woudl be filing complaints with the Attorney General in CA and in NC along with the Federal Trade Commission, Housing and Urban Development, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Bar Association in CA, the BBB and possibly seek legal action if this is not dealt with in a swift manner.

After sending my email I did receive a call from Judy Plovie to discuss my email and I told her I was done with this shady and what seems like illegal activity and that I wanted a full refund of $3595 and she told me I would hear from a supervisor within 24-48 hrs, I asked whom would be calling me and she said Henry Tran. This call took place on the 8/25 and I have yet to hear back from Henry Lee.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
