My husband and I were invitited to a free dinner at a local restaurant to talk about how to get the most out of your timeshares. They promised six weeks of travel with 50,000 points. They took our two timeshares that we owned plus $11400.00 which they put on two RCI cards; also I had to pay closing out of pocket. I am now paying on these cards. I requested a week at end of September and was told it would cost 28000 points which is more than half of the points. The week was for a timeshare that is a lockout of week I already .owned. Tell me how a company can take property from people who have worked so hard to purchase. The other property was two bedroom ocean front. Thought they would save us money every year with maintance fees. All I am now is sick and worried how I can afford the trips that I was getting with my timeshares. Please do not do business with these people. I thought they were lying but my husband liked the idea of less maintance fees. If anyone knows a lawyer that can help me out of this mess it would be greatly appreciated.
