TOOK MY CLASSIC 73 CORVETTE TO A REPAIR SHOP THAT IS INSURED BY LIBERTY MUTUAL IN SEPT 2014. THE SHOP RAN MY FIBERGLASS COLLECTOR CAR INTO A CONCRETE WALL AND KNOCKED A HOLE IN THE WALL AND DID MUCH DAMAGE TO HE CAR. LIBERTY MUTUAL SENT A SLEEZY ADJUSTER THAT ONLY WROTE AN ESTIMATE FOR A PARTIAL REPAIR. THERE WAS A LOT OF OTHER RESIDUAL DAMAGE AND THEY IGNORED IT.

THE CAR WAS TAKEN TO A SPECIALTY SHOP BECAUSE LIBERTY MUTUALS SHOPS REFUSED TO REPAIR A CLASSIC CAR. THE CAR GOT DONE PARTIALLY AND LIBERTY MUTUAL WILL NOT COMPLETE THE REPAIRS AND SAY ITS OLD DAMAGE WHICH IS THEIR WAY OF NOT PAYING CLAIMS.

I HAVE PICS PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT NONE OF THESE ISSUES WERE PRESENT. THEY DONT CARE THEY TAPDANCE AROUND GIVING YOU AN ANSWER THEY ARE CRIMINALS. THEY TAKE YOUR PREMIUMS ADVERTISE CHEAP RATES BUT DONT PAY CLAIMS. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. MY CAR IS NOT DRIVABLE NOW AND IT WAS A VERY CLEAN NICE RED CUSTOM CORVETTE PRIOR TO DEALING WITH THEM.

It's time for Wells Fargo Bank to dump Liberty Mutual (Liberty Life Assurance) as their Long Term Disability carrier for employees. Wells Fargo can do better and should.

As an employee of WF, you are told how great your benefits are and how much WF offers. What you don't know is that WF uses an insurer that denies the most claims and litigates more than any other insurer. Why would WF put their employees in such a terrible situation??

Most employees do not realize that a Short term Disability claim is paid by WF but if/when you transition to a Long Term Disability that's when Liberty Mutual starts to pay out of pocket and you have a 99% chance of being denied your benefits. Again, why would Wells Fargo use a company known to rip off disabled people?

On top of that, the Liberty Mutual policy Wells Fargo offers to employees only pays 50% of a monthly salary. Other insurers and policies generally pay at least 60-66% for a Long Term Disability Claim. Another rip-off for Wells Fargo employees.

After Liberty Mutual denies your LTD, you will have to hire a lawyer to fight them even though you are entitlled to and deserve your benefits. Then Liberty Mutual will low ball you and offer to settle your claim for less than 10% of the claim value if that.

If you want a quick calculation for your claim value, take your monthly salary divided by two then reduce that by your Social Security disability benefit. (SSA.gov can provide this ). Now multiply that number by the number of months left to work until you reach age 67. Then adjust for inflation. That is you claim amount.

Example: A person at the age of 50 making $6000 month / 2 = $3000 month - $1000 month for SS = $2000 mo.

Age 50 to 67 (age of retirement) = 17 years x 12 months in a year = 204 months x $2000 = $408,000 - TOTAL CLAIM

Now, Liberty Mutual reduce this amount for inflation and then may offer 10% of that amount. Unfortunately, with Liberty Mutual, your so-called Long Term Disability policy doesn't even pay you for a year's salary! And they expect you to live on that for the next 17 years! Unbelievable.

Huh? You ask? Yes, this is the dirty little secret that Liberty Life Assurance AKA, Liberty Mutual doesn't want you to know. The best part is that since you had to hire a lawyer you will only see about half of this 10%, so really you get about 5% of your real claim value if you have a legitimate claim.

Liberty Mutual has pulled the wool over Wells Fargo Bank Executives and ALL employees by stirring up fear of becoming disabled and getting companies to buy in to their insurance products knowing they will NEVER pay the benefit that people deserve.

My advice is to DUMP Liberty Mutual Insurance! Do not do business with known crooks & thieves.

If you currently work for Wells Fargo demand better LTD coverage. Only do business with companies with a better track record of paying claims and that pay no less than 60% of your salary in case you become disabled.

I URGE Wells Fargo to do better for their employees. Chances are they do not know how crooked Liberty Mutual is but after reading this they can confirm by searching all the ERISA cases that are currently being reviewed in Federal Court in this country against Liberty Life Assurance Company of Boston.

BUYER BEWARE.... Do NOT buy Liberty Mutual Insurance products if you are an individual consumer or business!

I became disabled in 1992 after a injury at Work. At the time I knew my Employer had Great Work Comp Ins. But after getting hurt, my Drs put me on Rx Opiates like Oxycontin for my Pain, I have Intractable Pain, Please Google it, Liberty Mutual for 12 yrs paid for all my Rx drugs, even Oxycontin. But when my Doctor wrote me a Rx drug called marinol, to replace my 1125 mgs of Rx Opiates that I stopped with Marijuana. Liberty Mutual has paid for my Rx Opiates like OXYCONTIN for 12 yrs, they have said they WILL still pay for Oxycontin, but they WILL not pay for Rx MARINOL...Why? Second: Liberty Mutual paid over $125,000 for the damage Rx Drugs caused me like Oxycontin Opiates, Liberty Mutual sent me to a QME, DDS in 2006 and they agreed to replace 20 teeth from the damage that the Rx Pills caused. Now after 8 yrs of having a DDS cover my teeth. Liberty Mutual doesn't want to pay anymore. Why? This is the first time I have put this on the LINE..Soon I will make a You Tube Video...Liberty Mutual has paid close to 1 million to my Medical Care, just because we use Our medical is not a REAL reason to say NO...Liberty Mutual wants me to take a Medicare Set a Side, this first offer was in 2009 for 54,000. When I told Liberty Mutual that my Doctors tells me I need more $$$$. But Medicare can cover me after I take this settlement. Its not a settlement when Patients are NOT covered. Than in 2010 a offer of $150,000, I listening to my Doctors knew this is NOT going to pay for any future medical. Medicare and all the Tax payers will be the ones covering me. So even time I said NO, not enough money to settle. Every Year more offers, the last Offer was for $428,000, of this offer $99,000 would go into a Medicare Set a Side, but when SSDI wrote Liberty Mutual back with a NEW $$$$, of $150,000 for what my Surgien said I need 5 more disc to come out, I have had 3 disc taken out of me. I have Intractable Pain now for 23 yrs, I need a Ins Co that works with us Patients, Liberty Mutual seems to ONLY want the Fight.....Liberty Mutual needs to pay for my Medicine, Marinol, over the poison opiate Pills like Oxycontin. Liberty Mutual needs to Keep covering my Teeth as they have paid over $125,000 from the Damage the Drugs caused me from my injury. Taking Oxycontin for pain seems to be the Only RX Drug Liberty Mutual wants Us Pain patients on. Marinol is a schedule 3 and is less harmful than Oxycontin a schedule 2. So Liberty Mutual seems to keep USING this way called DDD, this means Deny, Deny,Death. This is NO way to run a Ins Co, when we patients are COVERED for LIFE.....This means cover Us, pay Our Medical Bills, Stop using my Medical papers to harm Me. I see a Pain management Doctor that IS a Psychiatrist that helps my Brain, I see a Doctor for my Spine, He is my Surgeon. So I have Three Different Doctors for one Work Injury...Stop fighting me Liberty Mutual and just cover me, for this is What Ins Co do, pay for Us when we need you too. This is just one of many to come....I got hurt in 1992 at the age of 31 yrs old. Liberty Mutual said they will COVER me for Life....Its sad that we have to write this on BBB to get the coverage Liberty Mutual has paid and NOW after 23 yrs, keep making me fight for what is needed. Why does Sick Disabled Patients like me have to do this? Its wrong. So I tell everyone about Liberty Mutual Bad ways.

Liberty Mutual cancelled my policy after only 2 months. I was issued a policy in March 2015. Nothing was said about a home inspection from the representative I spoke with. Well now it is April and I recieved a letter from Liberty Mutual stating that they are cancelling my policy due to a broken TV on the carport patio, mature tress in the yard, peeling paint, foundation in need of repair, damaged stairs. It is a hundred year old house but to cancel me for a TV set is crazy. As far as the foundation is concerned a pier and beam was put in 2 years ago at a $12,000 cost to me.

When I took out the policy I made sure to tell them that the roof was older than 30 years. Of course my policy, according to the agent, would cost more at $1740 a year. I agreed but like I said not a word about home inspection was raised and if failed I would be dropped. If I was told this from the get go It would have made me rethink my taking out a policy with them. It was commission for the representative and he didn't care. Of course the inspector came out and took pictures of the roof. He never stated that he did a home inspection either.(I was away from the house when he showed up the first time and took pictures of the roof the second time). After I took out the policy I called my mortgage company and they dropped the insurance they had on the property, Now I am stuck. Liberty Mutual will cost me more money just to find new insurance and I still have to pay them for April. it is money I just don't have. Their business practices are shady at best. If something happens to this house by the time the policy runs out I am not sure Liberty Mutual will cover it.

I am writing this so that individuals who are considering getting Homeowner's Insurance will have this information to weigh in the balance whether they want to use Liberty Mutual Insurance.

December 23, 2013 I reported a claim to Liberty Mutual Insurance for damages to my property.

The estimates I received from contractors range from $4000-$12,570.

The estimate to do the job according to Liberty was $1,574.35. this estimate was determined

January 6, 2014. A check was given to me for $574.35 and I was told to cash this check and there

would be no additional funds to get the work done. I did not cash the check.

When I refused Liberty's offer it then sent another agent out on February 17, 2014 and estimated the

same work for $2,870.00. By this time I needed to fix the damage, since the damage was water damage,

So I took the offer of $2,870.00.

I was told the balance would be sent to me when the work is finished. The work is finished and I sent for the balance of the funds, but as of January 27, 2015 I have not received the balance from Liberty Mutual.

Plus Liberty Mutual reported my water damage in the Lexis Nexis system to make it be freflected as if it is

a real ongoing water problem, which report greatly damaged me.

Additionally, when I notified Liberty to cancel my insurance with them they ignored me and ran up a bill and sent me to a collection agency, which collection agency when it heard my side I never heard from the collection agency again.

I wrote Liberty a letter, CMRR, on Septtember 8, 2014 trying to rectify the discrepancies about the payments. The letter was mailed to the same address that was policy was issued from and my billing was sent from: "Liberty Mutual Office 1210 N Peachtree Pkwy, Ste 200, Peachtree City, GA 30269".

The letter was returned to me with it marked on the envelope "Refused 10-3-14". When I called to inquire about the reason for the refusal I was told by a woman who identified herself as Ms "Vera" (she refused to give me her last name) that they can not sign for CMRR letters.

When I initially accepted insurance with Liberty March 16, 2010 my insurance preminum was $1,272.00. March 15, 2011 when the policy was renewed it was billed by Liberty for the sum of $1494.00. March 15, 2012 I was billed $1785.00. March 15, 2013 I was billed $2148.00. March 16, 2014 I was billed $2,612.00. From the time I got my insurance in 2010 until I cancelled my insurance June 18, 2014 this was an increase of $1,340.00.

This is the truth. Use it wisely and determine for yourself.

This is the only claim I have had in my life for homeowner's damages and I am 67 years of age.

My husband and I have been members of Liberty Mutual for one half of a decade. They decided to raise our rate 6 months ago. We were at $122.00 for full coverage on 1 vehicle & 1 leisure vehicle coverage for the second vehicle and coverage on our home.

Wow, a $75.00 rate increase monthly. We tried to off set it by raising our deductibles beyond ridiculous and brought it down for a couple of months. Then in a few months they raised our deductibles that were now off set buy another hike in monthly rates by “Liberty Mutual” and that off set our attempts to lower our monthly bill.

Liberty Mutual Insurance Commercials: Who gets T-Boned in a new vehicle once, then buys a second new vehicle and gets T-Boned again? One in a 10 million chance? That is their pitch on 1 of their commercials, GET REAL

Liberty Mutual Insurance Commercial: Who gets a Garbage truck backing in to their car? Garbage trucks do not back up unless they are releasing a load at the dump, so this commercial is garbage, all in front of the Statue of Liberty, That is their pitch on 1 of their commercials, GET REAL

Then there is the “Brad” commercial! Stupid as all get out. Who goes through 3 jobs, 2 boy friends and claim “Brad” was more important than the relationships and the jobs she had. A foolish girl making money for a darn commercial. Beg her faint life!

Now the ¾ of a car add! Just a joke, I believe Liberty Mutual needs a new marketing team. Yes, this is going to the BBB, The Attorney’s States General, To Liberty Mutual Insurance and more. They are liars as follows in the next set of commercials:

Then they have this commercial, parallel parking! Some day you will rip some guy’s bumper off. So Dammed stupid! If you cannot parallel park with out ripping some “guys” bumper off, “put the gal darn keys away until you can learn to drive, you Xut!

This Liberty Mutual commercial is a beaut! They say you pull out and “tap: some one”s “station Wagon” bumper. So damned stupid are these “Liberty Mutual commercials” and the SUCKERS they use to present their lies?

Our car was hit by one insured through Liberty Mutual.

Their driver was 100% at fault.

Liberty Mutual will only pay for parts manufactured by third parties, not the original equipment manufacturer.

Aftermarket parts are substandard, do not fit, may rust and coul be a safety issue. Their warranties are nonexistent.

Buy insurance from a company recommended by a good body shop. They know what companies are customer focused.

libert Mutuals customer service is deplorable.

Liberty Mutual Insurance. In my opinion a totally inept company. We filed an undisputed claim for property damage that has gone on for months. Representative Gracielle Almada never returns calls, constantly loses the paperwork and is always too busy to help us. Find someone else. These people don't care about their customers and make filing a simple claim extraordinarily difficult. Very, very unprofessional.

State statutes creates a duty for insurance companies to negotiate in "GOOD FAITH and PROMPTLY SETTLE CLAIMS" when they have accepted liability when it reasonably clear. Unfair settlement offer practices are prohibited. No general business that serves the public such action when they have been injured by a carrier party. The company stands to have their practices reviewed by the State Insurance Commissioner for continuous violations. I was offered a settlement for $10,000.00 by Liberty Mutual Insurance Representative Tamora Stilwell for a hand fracture. What a complete insult as a human being. This was like someone stealing from you and you offer a reward for claiming your property. Well here is the REAL STORY about Liberty Mutual. Everyone has seen their television commercials and can echo the lyrics "I am only human and human make mistakes." Sounds dam good for a sales pitch if you until their are an accident. I had to wear a like cast on my had for almost four months due to a fracture. In addition I am right handed which is my dominant hand. In addition to this I missed work days due to pain and over time opportunity. As to the question of damages the doctor stated it would probably take one year for the hand to heal completely. Make no mistake about it the like-hood to receive a reasonable settlement is "ZERO" if you do not pursue it. It seems as if Ms. Stilwell focus is provide the least care and most less long timely settlement service through the "DELAY, DENIAL and DIE process. My missed days totaled almost $7,000.00 dollars along. All documents concerning the missed days was faxed to the insurance carrier but they changed and moved the stakes in the middle of the game. Here is where general math comes into play. The offer is $10,000.00 minus the $7,000.00 lost for work related issues equal only to a $3,000.00 settlement. My quality of life has been effective by one individual whom has chosen to use her discretionary power in self-serving ways to achieve her bonus. This is not Department of Veterans Affairs to receive a bonus for misconduct. This is an accident that happen in May 2013 that should have been settled by now.

They took premiums and then refused treatment when the time came. Liberty gave no reason and treated me like garbage. I now have turned to litigation and hiring attorneys. They have many names and third parties that work for them. You should investigate if your insurance choice has anything to do with Liberty Mutual, Safeco, Helmsman, etc. Be Careful.

I recently received a letter from Credit Collection Services representing Liberty Mutual Insurance. The notice states that I owe a balance of 461.03. I contacted the collection services and the young lady stated that I am being billed for future discounts.

I explained to the Rep. that I changed compnaies becuase of the rates and was not in a contract. I asked what discounts I was being billed for and she could not answer the question. I explained that I only had one car on the plan, one driver, no multi-line discount, military, student, vetran, senior, home, life insurance, annuities or any other plan with Liberty Mutual for discoutns to apply.

I also asked how can you bill me for future services if I am no longer with the company and change companies the same month I paid. I left liberty mutual paying on a monthly basis with no obligations along with a zero balance.

I also explained that Liberty Mutual did not disclose any information regarding discounts when I had service with them. The Rep. talked over me and said that Liberty Mutual bill for discounts on a 12 month basis dependign on how you pay. Which I pay monthly thefore no discounts apply and I have a zero balance.

I think that it is horrible for Liberty Mutual to bill for future discounts that consumers are unaware of. Liberty Mutual is unfair and will do anything for additional revenue.

Liberty Mutual Insurance has made it very difficult for my. They were paid and then refuse responsibilty after it has already been established. If I only new I would have avoided anything associated with them. Now I have attorney fees piling up just to get them to take responsibility for what has already been established that they are responsiblble for. My Attorney is fed-up with them, and I just wait. My opinion is to avoid Liberty, Safeco, or any other name they use. They will take premiums and then act as if they do not know you. You have been warned!

I have had Liberty Mutual for over 8 years on both my home and my auto)s). They have been very polite over these years, taking my money and raising my rates annually, depsite the facdt that I have never, ever made a claim. But because no fault of my own, I put in my first claim, ever in my life. The claim was due to :hail damage"" to my HVAC units located on the top of my roof. I first called my HVAC service provider to look at my units and asssss damage. They told me that both units were highly damaged and needed to be replaced.

I immediately notified Liberty Mutual Insurance to put in a claim, as per advice from HVAC technician. During the 10 days that I waited for Liberty Mutual to even acknowledge my claim (let alone existance), I receive a second and third opinion, who all agreed that the units were trashed and needed to be replaced. Two weeks after the intial claim was made, I called Liberty Mutual to check on status, since they never contacted me.

I was then told that the matter was assigned to a ""claims specialist"", whom would immediately contact me.Severla days later, not receiveing contact, I called them again, and was given the number of the claims specialsit. I then called her, and told her that I had bids from HVAC (three) and that I would send them to her.Several days past, and not hearing from her, I called her. She then told me that she would need to schedule her technician to observe theh damafge. I agreed.

Their techinican came two days later, and upon his examination, he told me and the claims specialsit that it was true taht I did need total replacements of units in that the old ones were in dis-repair. One week passed, and never being called by Liberty Mutual, I once again called them.

I was told that the claims speicallist was replaced and that my new claims speicalist would contact me. Being impatient, I tracked him down and called him. Low and behold, despite me being in Arizona he was located in Florida. During this call, I was told that the units did not need to be replaced but only repaired.

I read him the reports of all experts, that stated theat they could not be repaired, he said TOUGH LUCK, ""take us to court"".. TO THIS ADVICE I WILL COMPLY.

For those that wish to follow out come look to Maricopa County Superior Courts for the Case Paul T Demos v Liberty Mutual Insurance. I know that they have ripped off others in the same matter, so I will be including all those under a class action proceeeding.

PEOPLE REALLY, LET THESE 1%ERS COMPANIES THAT WE ARE FED UP AND WILL NOT TAKE THIS ANYMORE.
