It does sound good - assemble and ship everything needed to build a high end cedar home, and have a local dealer put it together.
KLCCH is the dealer, and they farmed the work out to a ROVING builder called AD Global, sold it to us saying that ADG did only Lindal homes and were experts.
AD Global has the advantage that it can leave the area and never come back to deal wih problems left behind. And, boy, were there problems.
The post and beam construction appears to be sound. The finishing was full of messes and poor workmanship. Exterior stain job so bad that it didn't cover the wood, we had to have a second coat put on later; interior trim scratched, splotched and smeared, damaged pieces put up anyway; sliding doors that are out of line, interior regular and pocket doors that don't latch and come off tracks; and workers who had no place local to stay, so they charged us for their motel bills when the prior agreement was that they were responsible for that.
BEWARE hiring these people as they do not stand by their work; in fact, they DISAPPEAR. And the middleman, Kentucky Lakes Custom Cedar Homes, is happy to lie about it all.
