I don't like the idea of background checks, especially before I even see the property so I did a search and found this is a scam. This is the 3rd time (out of 5 properties I've looked at!) that turned out to be scams - all through Craigslist! There's GOT to be some way to stop this from happening!!

This 1 bedrooms 1.0 baths home has not had any pets in the past but accepts pets. It does not have stains or odors. We do not have any breed restrictions and we do not charge a fee or require a deposit.
If your pet does damage to the home, you will be responsible for making all repairs.
To lease our property we ask for the following:
1. Valid Driver's License or Picture ID
2. Lease Agreement (month to month, 6 months, or 1 year)
3. First months rent
4. Background check for each applicant
Background checks can be completed online using Rental Verifie d: link.
If you have a criminal record or poor rental history, no worries, I'll be flexible with you.
There are many more reasons to tour the rental. It is well kept and the kitchen will make you feel right at home. Includes a washer and dryer along with being located in a friendly neighborhood.
I will bring the rental agreement with me to the showing. I also do ask for background checks to be completed by all applicants.
