LogoYes Reviews

  • Mar 10, 2015

This is the first time i have ever written anything negative about any one or any company. I'm not one of those people who just enjoys to complain about businesses. Believe me i own a couple of businesses. I'm writing this because i don't want others to find themselves in the same situation.

About a year ago i went online to create a logo for a new venture and i came across logoyes.com on google, advertising a do-it-yourself logo service. To keep the files of the logo you create, the website asked a payment of .99 cents which i used my credit card to pay. Next thing i know, a few months later while checking my credit card statement, i see multiple payments of $9.99 each month from logoyes. I was shocked because for about 4 months they had been charging $9.99 four times each month from my card (basically $40.00 a month).

I called my bank and complained and my bank said they would stop the payments etc. I called logoyes and after a long wait spoke with a woman who apologized and told me the withdrawals will be stopped and that it must have been an error. Fast forward another 6 months or so, I noticed the charges had continued for that long. I called my bank and together we contacted logoyes and what we heard was a bunch of lies and half-truths. They claimed that when i bought the logo for .99 cents, i signed up for re-occuring charges based on their terms and agreements.

First of all, i am literate, i can read and understand legal documents very well. I am a well educated individual who is very keen about things like that. I told him there was never anything on the website which mentioned or remotely suggested a monthly commitment with re-occuring charges. It only mentioned a one-time payment of .99 cents for the digital file of the logo. While on the phone i asked the rep to show me the place on the terms and conditions that suggests re-occuring charges of $9.99 and he couldn't come up with anything. He placed me on hold and then came back and said that he was just working for the parent company and doesn't know how to get that information. LIES!!! LIES!!! LIES!!! I read the entire terms and conditions of the website and there was no mention of any $9.99 re-ocuring fees.

Imagine if you went on itunes to buy a song for .99 cents, a few months later, you realize that itunes had been charging you $9.99 four times a month for that song you downloaded. Ridiculous right? That's exactly what logoyes has been doing for about a year on my card without me noticing much. Ofcourse i learned my lesson :- Account for every charge on your card statements in detail. You could be losing dollars from Fraudulent companies like these who make their money by exploiting your lack of vigilance. I will never use this website ever again. I think they also go by Web.com. Stay away!!!

NEVER!!! NEVER!!! NEVER!!! USE LOGOYES.COM

LOGOYES.COM is a BIG FRAUD. STAY AWAY!!!
