Lori from Cosby Show and Viacom Reviews

This guy stopped me while I was walking from 32nd street to 33rd on 7th Avenue at 9:45am. I was caught off guard as I had my headphones in, it was early, and I was running late for work. He asked where a Sephora was around the area, I said I didn't know and was proceeding to move along. He quickly says I have a great voice and asks if I've ever considered doing voiceovers. I said no but thank you. He continues to talk about how I have a great voice for cartoons and how he is a casting agent. He asks if he can walk with me to wear I'm going (the subway) and I agree. He introduces himself as Lori says he's from the Cosby Show, asks if he looks familiar and he works with viacom. Calls a number and has me listen to ensure it's real. Pulls out his wallet and shows an old Nickelodeon card.

We continue to talk says how I can make $195 on the weekends and how they can accomodate to create a schedule for me (since I work weekends on occasion as I told him). He proceeds to be super enthusiastic and sounds 100% legitimate on what he's saying. We talked a lot about hometowns, birthdays, how he's buying a present for his wife today, etc. Seemed so down to earth and real. I thought it was so real and took him up on it. He tells me I have to pay $380 upfront, I told him I can't but I can pay half. He asks me for $260 and then lowers it to $240. I agreed but didn't have the money on me. So he tells me to go to an ATM and waits outside as I get the money. I couldn't give him full amount and he insists it's okay and how he has tons of money and can cover me, then just take the remaining balance out of my first pay. I ended up giving him the money, I was so stupid. Please be careful. Don't trust him, don't even talk to him!!
