Received a call from a company called M&S Recovery LLC. The operator named Terry Grant stated I owed Drs at a hospital I went to in 2009 some money. I asked for a copy of teh bill but she sent me an empty PDF file. Called back 2 weeks later on March 25, 2014 saying she needed the money, She was demanding money and I asked again for the payment and I asked for the bill. When i went to retrieve the bill it was a letter written on M&S Recovery LLC but the company was called Encouraging Financial Company with an address of 5140 Main Street Suite 303 Box 155 in Williamsville, NY. I googled the address and that suite belongs to a UPS store with mailboxes. But the letter was handtyped on a program win2pdf.com. The address this person used to type this letter was an address I lived at in 2006 so that also proved as FRAUD. Received a recording call from a number so I googled the number and found out it was 1-205-588-4271Level3 VoIP in Birmingham, AL. The recording gave me a 1-855 number to call to make payments.
Also called the hospital for this bill and the lady in billing said there was no Dr by that name and the bill I did have with them was paid in full. The recording was threatening saying this bill was valid and wanted to have it paid today but there is no real number to call and the email it came from was info@mandsrecovery.
Will also add when questioned about why they were calling me 5 years later Terry Grant said they do payday and title loans for recovery so she let the fraud out since I have never had a payday loan not paid for or a title loan.
If it does appear on my credit report I will make sure it was removed.
