2 guys approached me today claiming that they were doing audio installation for a Buffalo Wild Wings that was supposed to open locally. They had all types of sterio systems and audio equiptment in the back of their surburban. Everything actually looked legit & they even had a magazine to show with the porducts and pricing. the qquptment that they are selling is a piece of crap. Feeling guilty, I called buffalo wild wings and offered to return the products and they had no idea what I was talking about.
On the box it says $895 they got me for $300 totally selling me saying it was a great fathers day gift at a once in a lifetime price. I fell for it. Thats what I get for buying something that was perhaps stolen.
They have a website Madridtheater.com actually looks legit. EXCEPT: there is pricing but no option to buy and there is a contact tab but no phone number or address.
I cant believe I fell for this!! My husband is going to be so upset when he finds out! Dont lets these people get you also!
Got scammed today in the parking lot of Whole Foods on Kirby here in Houston, TX. Two guys pulled up in a black new expedition and starting yelling at me. One guy got out of the car and said he had a $2200 MSRP home sound system and asked me how much I'd be willing to pay. I offered $500 and wound up paying $700. As the other reviews have stated, this system is a piece of junk and is probably only worth $80 max.
