This complaint is filed against Mantrans, LLC and it’s owner Darrell B. Moore who also operates Global Re-manufacturing. Both business are located at 4920 Woodlane Circle, Tallahassee, FL 32303.
On August22, 2014, I reached out to Darrell regarding a E-Bay was under the id “bestmt68” for a Honda 225 HP EFI Four Stroke outboard motor Item number 281419226716 (Attachment # 1). From August 22 to 27, 2014, Darrell and I spoke on the engine posted and Darrell indicated that he had access to some more engines and he would make sure that I got the best one from this upcoming auction. However, to pull this off and to make payroll, if I could help him out with the cash up front he would be able to go to the auction. The original plan was to pick up the engine on August 28 and work on it the following week Tuesday since Monday was a holiday. Ship the engine by Sept 5, 2014.
Unfortunately, I started getting suspicious when Darrell insisted using Pay Pal for the purchase of an engine that was not the one advertised on E-Bay. I felt like this was a bait a switch. Darrell stated that he wanted to run the payment through Mantans, LLC. I advance Darrell $3000 towards the purchase of the engine and his agreement to the following (See attachment # 1):
