The Carey Business School is still not yet accredited, based in part due to the professional failure and negligence of Maqbool Dada. It is alleged that Maqbool Dada is a liability to the academic quality of the Carey Business School, in addition to being a financial liability to Carey Business School students and other stakeholders. It is alleged that students of the Carey Business School paid for the legal defence of Maqbool Dada, and the students did not provide such an authorization, nor were they ever duly notified of the lawsuit against Maqbool Dada.
