I receive multiple emails on a clients account every week from a company claiming to have domain names to sell. These emails get blacklisted but they keep changing the domain name the emails are coming from. I've filed spam reports as well with the registrar but that has gotten me nowhere.
The domains are all identical to mcb.tv with the same phone number and layout. From an outside erspective they appear to be identical.
The emails all pretty much the same and here is an example (Some use the name David Aaron):
Hello,
My name is Edward Lawrence and I am a Business Development Manager for MCB, a domain name wholesaler. We are offering the keyword-rich domain name DisabilityAttorneyNYC.com for the onetime price of $225.
If properly optimized, this domain can pay for itself many times over with the leads it creates when somebody searches on Google for the term "Disability Attorney NYC".
Only one party can own this strategic domain name. This domain will be sold to the first party that completes the sale. We transfer ownership of the domain before payment is due.
