Men's Medical Clinic Reviews

To Whom It May Concern:

On or about August 6th, 2014, I visited the Men's Medical Clinic in Tampa, Florida for ED treatment. I was talked into spending $4976.00 for treatment. On the way home from the clinic visit, I spoke with the V.A. Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida about using medication from outside the VA system, and was told strongly that it was not advisable to do so.

As soon as I hung up with the VA medical facility, I called the Men's Medical Clinic in Tampa from my cell phone and spoke with a gentlemen to cancel the order I had just placed, not even an hour earlier. I clearly told them the VA did not approve of my using any medication outside the Veteran's Administration's system, and since I was a disabled vet on a fixed income, I really couldn't afford it anyway.

The gentleman told me he's take care of it, but the next day the shipment of medication arrived at my door while I was out, or I'd have refused delivery. I called several times to get it resolved, but had to leave messages on the Men's Clinic's phone each time, and was not called by anyone from the Men's Clinic.

I contacted my credit card company, U.S. Bank (Visa) and a provisional credit was issued for $4976.00 on August 11, 2014. Since that time I have been in contact with the credit card company regarding a credit, and was repeated told that they would take care of it. Unbeknownst to me on September 12, 2014, the credit card company reinstated the $4976.00 charge to my credit card. When I noticed it, I called and asked why I was again charged for a purchase I did not want, and had returned all the product for.

After a couple of months and repeated phone calls to the credit card company, they said the Men's Clinic would not issue a credit because I hadn't returned the product, which I promptly did at that time, and have delivery receipts to prove it. I had held on to the box of medication for leverage in getting the issue resolved, but had not even opened the box it came in, and had stored it in my refrigerator the entire time.

I have done all that was asked of me by the credit card company and the Men's Medical Clinic, yet I still have nearly $5000 charged to my Visa card, which is acruing interest each month. I have paid off the card except for the $4976.00 charge for the medication. I'm afraid if I pay it off completely I will never see a refund, but at this juncture I don't know what more I can do short of filing a dispute in Small Claims Court.

If there is any leverage you can bring to bear on the Men's Medical Clinic in Tampa, I would greatly appreciate it, because I have my doubts on the effectiveness of the court system here.

Beware

This clinic will promise you results, take your money, cause you considerable physical and emotional pain and then after the medication does not work, they will refuse you a refund.

This company is a scam and Dr. Hornsby has been banned for life from practicing medicine in the state of Florida.

Beware.

I went to the New York City (now closed - I wonder why?) in October of 2013 for their 'free' exam and trail dose. They all dressed as doctors, but there was only one doctor there. After a 2 minute consultation with the doctor, a 'technician' came in to give me injection at half dose. After 10 minutes he came back in, felt me and claimed I was at 50%. Didn't feel any difference but that's what he said. Then the original doctor look a like came in telling me I was a great candidate for their program and it was only $8,000 (eight thousand dollars); I told him he was crazy and was going to walk out. He said he would do me a favor and 'allow' me to get only half the of the program. I was leaving in 3 days for a trip, so I signed up for half the program as long as I could get the material in time for the trip.

Went on the trip, first night, I injected myself, nothing happened. Second night, nothing happened. Third night, nothing happened. Fourth night, I was in al ot of pain and realized this 'special mixture, formulated just for me' did not go deep enough with the 'preset' injector. The pain got worse and lasted for 2 weeks after I returned home. I called the Monday after I returned but was in too much pain to come into the office. The following Monday I went to the office, spoke with my 'salesman' told him what happened, my costly vacation was a disaster, told him I was not happy and satisfied. Not once did he offer to help me. They offered me a program to pay for their services on a credit card, with no interest if paid in 6 months.

Someone called me from Florida wanting to 'help' me. I said 'take it all back'. He said, by Federal Law, prescriptions cannot be returned. The next phone call he said he would take back half of the product.

After making 2 payments and after consulting with my attorney, I wrote them a letter saying I wanted my 2 payments returned and I was not going to make any more payments.

They tried to ruin my credit, threating calls and letters, etc.

11 months later I receive a letter saying my account has been SELECTED to recieve a substantial discount offer to pay only 25%.

I can't wait to see these people in court; I will update this sight and tell you what the trail by jury decides.

First off I want to say that the medication did work. but you have to inject it in your p**** which was quite painful to the point of the thought of having sex may not be a option.

the bottom line for me though is they want you to pay them $4000 plus dollars for this program so you should try everything else first.

Philadelphia Mens Clinic and Doctor Hornsby

This office and what they tell you is a scam, Doctor Hornsby gave me medication that has ruined my life as a man.

He begged me not to get an attorney for my injuries, but I did have representation but later I fell for Doctor Hornsby's

false words stating he could repair the damage but if I had attorney he would not.

I have 10,000.00 in medical bills from the damage from Doctor Hornsby's medication he promised to pay them.

So I let my attorney go Doctor Hornsby sent me out a form sign and return and he would mail out check for my medical bills. I have been waiting on this check for 2 years he refuses to return phone calls or emails.

At the time I went he didnt have any register nurses working there, he states his Doctors in his office hes the only Doctor and he is not on call he flys his own plane (from our money) back to Florida every weekend so if you are in need he is not around on weekends.

After my visit and his medication he was no where around or could not be contacted by phone so I ended up in the emergency room and ruined for the rest of my life.

Doctor Hornsby has lied to me gave me false hope and scammed me.
