I too was scammed by the alias "Danielle Ferris" Aka Michelle Fazio. She advertised a "Camelot" Macaw as a dominate yellow and claimed to have paid 5k for him. She also said he was 6 months old. Which i knew was not true because i saw she advertised his sale 6 months prior. Anyway i purchased him for 1,500. He is NOT a dominate yellow which i also knew but let it slide. And within a couple of months he was very ill. After 3k in vet bills it turns out the Avian vet said he was vitamin a deficient and that he was not fed or weaned properly as a baby. Danielle ferris aka Michelle Fazio was only feeding him seeds And not a proper macaw diet of pellets, fruits and veggies. The vet also said the prior owner would have to have known he was ill. So she does in fact sell sick birds. I was lucky that my macaw made a full recovery and is super spoiled and is fed a healthy diet and has gotten a clean bill of health. I would definitely advice to avoid purchasing a bird from this women. If she is not a scam artist then why is she using aliases??? Her address is 458 Helene ave, Shirley, ny no matter what alias she is currently using. Dont buy anything from her!!
