First of all, a lot of complains have been filed regarding this “untrue” company. An action should be performed.

I filed an application to get a quote to move my stuff from Indiana to Pennsylvania in December 2014. A person “carol” called me and told me that her company is “Interstate relocation”. I talked to her but before I continue I should say that after the call, I search in google about interstate relocation and it is a big company but it is not the company that “ carol” represents. They made a website that has an extra “s” letter and made it “interstate relocations.com”. The good company I am talking about has a website that is “interstate relocation.com”. BTW: the good company knows about that and they are filing a legal complain. Moreover, they said that at least 5 persons before me suffered the same kind of “cheating”. Right now, they changed their name to “National express relocation” after they knew that a legal complain will be filed.

During the call, Carol asked me every possible question about my stuff and gave me something to sign. I signed and sent back. She told me that the pick up will be in the 1st of January and that my stuff will be there in the 3rd or 4th. . She talked to her manager and confirmed. She then mentioned that the manager will contact me next week to schedule the pick up time. I asked here if I use more boxes than what I mentioned, how much extra cost I will pay. She said every extra box will cost you 7$ and not more than that.

Anyway, the manger didn’t contact me. I called Carol and she said she will talk to him. No body got back to me. I called the manager and he said he doesn’t think he can pick up my stuff as mentioned before. I argued because I have to leave my apartment and need to give the key. Carol said she will talk to the manger but again no body contacted me. The manger name is Adam. Then I continued to call and ask for Carol. The lady ‘’Lisa” always mentioned she will get back to me. NONE. Later after many calls from my side, lisa promised to give me a call by 5 pm. NONE.

Then I called again and she promised to give me a call in 5 mintues. WOW. She did this time. She said they will come to pick our stuff on the 1st and they will call me before. No body called. Then, after some calls from my side, Adam called and said the driver is sleepy and tired. He asked me that the driver come the next day. I said I need to give the key, otherwise I will pay more money to the landlord. He said they can come in the morning (the driver was beside him) and that they will pick my stuff and leave before 10 am.

The came at 7 am.

DRAMA:

The driver came with a lady, and started to pack my stuff. I swear that I and my father helped them. I helped in carrying the stuff to the truck. How can the driver and the lady pick up the living room furniture I have. Ridiculous. I am not complaining about them. This Adam should know that they can’t do that. I went for a couple of hours and returned. Anyway, we FINISHED AT 6PM. I am was completely exhausted and had to drive in the same day with my car to Philadelphia region. Before they close the truck, the driver said your cost changed. The cost increased by 800 $. The last stuff was not packed as it should be ( I wish I didn’t leave for 2 hours). I said, no. I am putting the stuff I mentioned to carol and 4 extra boxes. What 800$??. No solution. I then had to through away my mattress and the spring box. Then the price went down 500$. It was still 300$ more than what we agreed.

Then I talked to Adam and he said: pay the money, I am already expediting the shipment. You will get in by Sunday or Monday. Now the other drama:

DRAMA 2

My stuff was taken first to Atlanta. They put it in a storage as the driver said. Then to North Carolina. Then on Monday, Adam said you will get your stuff. NO. The driver didn’t call. There is no communication between the driver and the Adam. They are not the same company. This is a big lie. Then the driver called and said he has a problem in the truck, and he will come tomorrow. OOPS. Ok. We slept on the ground and I couldn’t go and work well. I waited the whole Monday (Jan 5th) but no call and no body came. The second day, no body called in the morning, and I am waiting. I called Adam and argued. He doesn’t know what is going on. The driver called after that and said: I will be there in 1 hour.

WoW. We waited and waiting, and he didn’t come. I called him, and he said half an hour. NO. He didn’t come. He called and said another hour and then closed. That the end of Tuesday and I had to sleep again on the ground with my family. On Wednesday, a person called me. He is another company and Adam used his since that person is from origin country. He talked to me and said they will come on Wednesday and no. The said at 7pm. No. Then said 9pm. NO. I learned that the truck is within 1 mile from my home all the time but it is broken. They don’t want to tow it because it costs them, but it was costing me more and more and I am sleeping on the ground and not going to work. This was my new job where I have to start in a good manner instead of taking an early holiday. How can this Adam take his hand out from all of this. He should be contacting me. I didn’t sign the contract with that person or with his driver.

This is another company. Anyway, they said Thursday morning. NO. Afternoon. NO, and the truck is 1 mile from my home They could tow it, but this happens when you deal with fake companies that do a lot of that with no action against them. Then he said Thursday at 8-9 pm. NO. Then I called that person and argued with him and said ‘’Look if my stuff doesn’t come tomorrow morning then keep the stuff with you and I will go to the police. THEN, ANOTHER PERSON WHO HAS ANOTHER TRUCK AND SAID HE IS ANOTHER COMPANY CALLED ME. He said I understand you and Adam and the other are wrong and .. and.. and… He said that the person I talked with before him asked him a favor. He said they will come in the morning of Friday. Then they called and said it is snowy and we may not come. I said keep the stuff. Then they sent a truck and took my stuff from the Truck who came from North Carolina to the new truck. BTW: this driver is not the same as the driver who picked up my stuff.

Then they came. To finish early, I helped the drivers. To be honest, this time I wanted to do that because I wanted to finish ASAP. After that it was late and they wanted to leave as fast as possible. But:

The saw a lot of damage. The driver said that they guy who picked up my things doesn’t know how to pack up stuff. He said he will talk to his manager about that but the manager is not Adam. He is another company. OK. He wrote and signed and I signed on the receipt the damage happened. I didn’t make an extra insurance. I took the default one. It is 60 cent/pound. The driver said that my stuff are expensive and it is hard to see new furniture is damaged.

I filed to get a refund. They asked me for the receipt and the damaged items and fill a form. They didn’t ask anything else. AGAIN, THEY DIDN’T ASK ANYTHING ELSE. The receipt has the damaged items as the driver wrote them.

After sometime, they replied and said they will offer me 65$. I said no way, and I called them and mentioned that I will complain legally and that I know their cheating style and has proofs. They started to negotiate. What negotiation? They said we send money for repair. I said come and repair them. How can I repair and new dresser that has a chipped part??. The chipped part is not there. How can I prepare and table (big and nice) that has a wheel and its place broken. I bough these with expensive prices. They will either repair them or give me the 60 cent/pound. They don’t want to do that. The lady that is handling the insurance is sitting in the same office. Trust me it is professional cheating.

Now they are asking for photos and receipts of my stuff. I don’t keep receipt but they are welcome to come and see that my furniture is brand new. Can’t they ask the driver who is supposed to be part of their company (he is not, however) and who signed and is responsible to look at every item before he writes that it is defective????

How can I get a photo of a dresser that is chipped (that is easy) but has a big part very loose and the only way to have it back is professional repair? Should I take that part out? If these are professional company, they should send somebody to look at the stuff. Actually, again, Iam repeating, they don’t need because this is the job of the driver and his partner.

This is a summary and not everything in details. When I talked with Carol over the phone and told her that illegal stuff they did, she was silent and was saying let’s see how I can help.

I am not the only one. A lot of people filed against them. Same style. Increase the price in the last moment, delivery games, damaged stuff, etc….

I am waiting an action to be taken about this company. Adam has no right to go and let me handle my stuff with other companies after I signed a contract with him.

I don’t want to mention more but I can.
