This company has continued to baffle me if you look them up they have over 5,000 complaints I have found alone I am trying to get a class action lawsuit I don't see how to get this done when everyone and every website will not let you post your name or email or phone number. I have a court date the 16th of this month against nationstar. I am countersuing and wanting to file a class action lawsuit as this company is nothing but a scam. The company is made up of a bunch of head of employees from Bank of America who left formed Nationstar Mortgage and guess what all of the sudden Bank of America sells a bunch of mortgages to guess who...Nationstar now that kinda falls under insider trading just a little bit but we will get back to that. What the company actually does is forces you to take their escrow, their insurance raises your rates without your permission, then when they have drained you for all the money they can get out of you they tell you you can qualify for a HARP loan and they will get you approved. You are instructed to not make any payments and then they start the I didn't recieve the paperwork, this paper was missing you didn't sign this paper, then while they are working on your loan you will find your house is up for auction while they are working on your ""loan modification."" Suddenly you recieve a letter that you didn't qualify for loan modification because you missed payments even though they told you not to pay and they mark your credit so you can't get a loan modification from anyone else and about a day after you get the you were denied a loan modification you recieve notice that your home was sold at some mysterious auction that nobody ever attended because they didn't tell anyone and then they take your home and all of the sudden Nationstar owns your home, then they offer you cash for keys if you will move out in 30 days, they won't pay that money because they have their lawyers sue you for denial of access to the property for the 30 days your there. Just check with any website that deals with complaints and look at how many people have lost their homes to this scam. I want to file a class action immediately. Bank of America is involved in this as well. (of course they are). I have a court date the 16th of this month in Springfield, Mo any attorney interested I actually have 5,000 people who are wanting to file a class action lawsuit.

After fighting with Bank of America for 6 years over our mortgage, the mortgage was sold to NationStar. NationStar quickly modified our loan and sent documents with our new payment that included escrowing taxes and insurance. After noticing that my insurance company was still billing me directly, after 4 months, I called NationStar and they stated that their escrow department did not set up the insurance payment in the escrow and that if I wanted them pay the insurance they would raise my payment by $90.00. They paid the insurance and have refused to honor their original contracted payment. I do not know who to turn to for assistance. All I know is that they have not kept the contract that they agreed to.

If there is a class action against NationStar, I would be willing to join.

Between 2009 and 2013, I suffered a series of hardhips. I was laid off three times due to downsizing. Then in 2012, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I had surgery and it took over a year to recover and then return to the workforce.

Commencing in 2013, I entered into the process of loan modification negotiations with Bank of America. Shortly after the process began, Bank of America informed me that they had switched to Nationstar as their servicer and I was forced to submit all the paperwork over again. I ithe went for monthly loan modification negotiation meetings at Court and made the timely payments required. This process continued up until October 2014, when Bank of America withdrew their foreclosure action.

THE NEXT DAY, I received two letters from Nationstar saying that I was delinquent in my payments and that Nationstar was starting a foreclosure action against me! IMPOSSIBLE!

My nightmare had only just begun. I noticed that neither I nor my attorney were receiving any physical mail, statements or confirmations of my payments from Nationstar. I had to go on line to get my statements and information. Upon viewing my account on line, I found three more letters (which neither I nor my attorney ever received in the mail) saying that my payments were only partial and Nationstar was keeping my account in "suspense" pending full payment. What does this mean?

Now Nationstar claims that I owe them about $8,000.00 more due to fees and interest. Nationstar escrowed my taxes AFTER we agreed on a loan modification, making my payment $500.00 more per month! This was NOT a part of the terms of my loan modification!

I am a homeowner who wants to pay my mortgage, but even as an honest and hardworking individual, it is impossible to keep up with the ALLEGED "fees" that Nationstar keeps adding on without cause. None of these "fees" were reflected in my loan modification, nor was any of this discussed in the loan modification negotiations with the representative from Bank of America at the pre-foreclosure meetings in Court!

I cannot refinance because Nationstar keeps reporting me late even though my mortgage loan has been modified and I HAVE BEEN MAKING TIMELY PAYMENTS! Nationstar has also threatened to put this on my credit report, thereby making it impossible to get out of this twisted situation and ensuring that I have NO FUTURE.

It took me ten years to save up enough money to put a downpayment on my home. For the past twelve years, I have been paying for and maintaining my home and Nationstar wants to take my home away from me even though I HAVE COMPLIED AND COOPERATED COMPLETELY!

I am a hardworking professional and I will NOT walk away from my home! I have done NOTHING to deserve this! These unlawful practices by Nationstar must be brought to an end!

Have been dealing with Nationstar as a mortgage servicer for the last 4-5 years. Several instances of unexplained charges on billing, but nothing of a major issue. Until now. Was injured on the job June of 2013, have been unsuccessful in collecting workers comp. Wages a have declined due to my injury to around 35-40% of my previous income. have used savings to keep up until january 2015.

Received invitation from Nationstar in Marrch 2014 to Refinance. Responded by phone, to initiate process. Had an assigned " Loan Specialist" Called back next day to provide additional information that had been requeested, and was advised that the individual that had been assigned as my "loan specialist" was no longer employed by nationstar. Next "loan specialist" after requesting income and employment verification sent me a letter approximately a week later that stated that I did not meet criteria fror a refinance.

Received letter from Nationstar dated March 9, 2015, stating that upron their review, my mortgage qualified for modification. The letter states" To accept this option, within 14 days of the date of this letter you must call us at (877)450-8638 to confirm your participation or make your first Trial period payment. If you follow the terms of the enclosed Trial Period Plan, your loan will be permanently modified."

The last sentence in the previous paragraphcan be interpreted in a legal proceeding as nothibng but an absolute confirmation of actiion! But that's not the Natiionstar way. After making three timely payments that the Trial Period Plan called for, I recieved a Letter from Nationstar on June 18,2015 with the following statement. " We recently received a payment on your behalf in the amount of $807.04. We are returning these funds as they are insufficient to bring your account current. As of the date of this letter, the total amount required to bring this account current is $6,732.79."

To date there has been no accounting from Nationstar of the disposition of the first 2 Trial Plan payments, nor has the payment referred to in the June 18.2015 letter been returned. Current status is threat to resume foreclosure proceedings.

My intent is to use my limited resources to file an action against Nationstar and their "Dedicated Loan Specialist" Kyle Lindgard for Fraud.

I just saw a report by someone else who had the same experience, and I feel certain there are more of us out there.

Bank of America sold my home loan to Nationstar at the end of 2013. Since they bought it, my monthly payment has gone up considerably. They claim 1. BOA never put enough in escrow so I was short when they bought it, 2. Taxes increased and 3. (And I would sure like to know if this is legal), Nationstar requires escrow accounts to always have a certain amount of $ over and above the actual amount; supposedly my account was short @$120 when they took bought it, PLUS, they told me, they require a minimum of $200 or $250 (an extra month or some percentage--don't remember what she said) in your account at all times, which BOA does not do. That added about $300/year.

First, is this legal--to have the company that buys your loan add new rules about escrow? Second, I still can't get them to explain how that additional amount/year translates to an increase PER MONTH of @$100 since they bought the loan.

I have owned my home since 2003 and refinanced twice--once, before it expired, to get rid of ARM (2006) & a second time (mid 2013) to obtain a lower rate and have payments below $1k. I do not believe my payment increased in 10 years--at least not until Nationstar took over.

In october, 2014, my home mortgage of $88,451.59 was sold by springleaf mortgage services, inc. To nation star mortgage. I received notification from nation star mortgage dated october 15, 2014. I never received any notification from springleaf mortgage services, inc. The second page of the notification from nation star mortgage included a payment due date of 10/15/2014, the same day the notice was drafted and at least two days prior to my receiving the letter via u.S. Postal service. Also included was "late payment if received on or after" the 30th of the month. This notification also contained the nation star mortgage web site, mynationstar.com, where i could set up my payments and view statements, year-end tax information, etc. I immediately went to the web site and set up an automatic draft from my checking account for the next day and on the 15th of each month thereafter.

During the months of october, november, and december, nationstar sent me an email advising i could now view my statement, but, due to the verification via my checking account statement, i saw no reason to access the statement each month. At the beginning of january, 2015, i accessed the web site to retrieve my year-end tax document. The document reflected that i had paid no interest and my balance remained at $88,451.59, just as if i had made no payments at all. I accessed the october, november and december statements. All 3 statements reflected a principal amount of $134.37 and an interest amount of $662.65 totaling my monthly checking account draft of $797.02, again verified by my bank statements. I should have paid a total of $1987.95 in interest and my balance should be reduced by $403.11 to $80,048.48.

I contacted nationstar mortgage via 866-316-2432, but remained on hold for up to 15 minutes on three or four occasions. I found an email contact via the mynationstar.com web site and sent a detailed email and was told my year-end document is correct. I again attempted to contact nation star mortgage via 866-316-2432, but never get an customer service representative with whom i can discuss the issue.

The statements do confirm a late payment fee as "payment due if received on or after" the 30th of the month as $836.87 making the fee actually $39.85. However, even though i made the october payment after the 15th of october Because i did not have the information with which to submit the payment), i made the payment prior to the 30th, there should be no fees associated with this account and none that i can see via the statements.

I understand the key to resolving the issue regarding these complaints against nation star mortgage is to find out who licenses the company to do business in the state of georgia where i live and complain to them. That is my next step. Wish me luck! in the meantime, i have no choice but to re-finance my home mortgage and get away from nation star mortgage.

Escrow for taxes was collected but they refuse to pay the tax assessor or return my funds. Issued payment requests multiple times for them to pay. I received a notice from the Dauphin County, PA tax assessors office due to deliquent taxes and now late fees incurred due to non payment. I notified Nationstar mortgage and they agreed, as well as show in statements that they have collected 3,313.53 in escrow for payment of my taxes. When I asked why they did not pay the taxes as they were supposed to they stated they did not know. They issued a payment request to some outside company and nothing was done. I called back and requested a status and they stated they did not pay the taxes and do not know why. They can not say where the money is, who has it, when the taxes will be paid or how to resolve this issue. I am in the process of selling my home with a settlement date in April of this year. This unpaid tax bill could result in problems at closing. Nationstar admits to having my money but will not allow me access to it and will not provide any direction as to how or when they will actually pay my taxes. Their suggestion was "well you don't go deliquent until 3 years of non payment". I either want my taxes paid from the escrow account or I want the money refunded to me with the late fees they caused me to incurred included.

The resolution to this problem is simple to me. Nationstar should either pay my unpaid taxes from my escrow and they should pay my late fees incurred as a result of their poor business practices OR they should cut me a check for the full amount of my escrow account and a separate check for the late fees incurred. They are holding my money hostage and have been horrible to communicate with, they are not accessible and attempt long hold times (each phone call, no matter how simple takes around 1 hour just to document my request).

Nationstar mortgages should be ashamed of themselves. They are a rip off company that do not care about the customer service . They have the worst customer care over the phone, they hang up on you if they don't like the way you talk, or if you are persistent about asking to speak with a customer manager. My banker was with me and they even hang up on him . Well Fargo bank back me up 100percent and nationstar still charges fees. I schedule to make my mortgage payment , they take it and then couple of days later they reverse it in my bank and charge me fees, then I call numerous time I family speak with someone after I beg for my case, nationstar says ok it's all fix and come to find that they don't take my money, all I want to do is pay my mortgage every month , and they fight me, it's almost like they want my house to go into collection. I never seen a company where I fight to pay my mortgage. They should be happy and ready to take my money. Also you have to fight with nationstar to get a manager..they are the reason I stress every month when it's taime to make a payment. The worst company ever!!!!! Shame on you nationstar, rip off!! And shame on Bank of America to sell loan to this service company.

After three times insisting I qualify for a Loan Mod they approved it. I paid my three trial period payments. Their website shows I haven't made a payment in four months. I am getting collection calls daily because they a showing I am underpaying my original mortgage (hence the Mort Mod... to pay a lower amount). I have emailed my dedicated loan specialist [email protected] she never responds. I get emails indicating there is a new msg on the mynationstar.com website, but like I write above, the website isn't updated. So i call and am told I need to sign the Final Mort Me d documents that havent been sent to me yet (it's been a month since my third and final "trial period" payment. I made it perfectly clear to Ms Sanchez and every C/S Rep I talk to that I will NOT pay a fourth "Trial Period" payment... I won't be paying anymore payments until I get the final docs and have enough time to go throug them with a fine tooth comb these people are scums and cheats. I don't trust them at all.

Congress needs to de to pass a law prohibiting original loan companies from selling your loan to a subpar company without your permission. I chose BOA for my original loan. I HATE Nationstar.

My mortgage was sold by Bank of America to Nationstar Mortgage in June 2013. My husband and I had been in our home since January 2007 with the same interest rate and same monthly payment since purchase. Our original mortgage company was NationPoint Mortgage who sold the loan to Bank of America. Anyway one month after our first payment, which was the same as it had always been, to Nationstar, we recieved notice that our payment was increasing by $206.15 effective September 1, 2013 while our interest rate remained the exact same as the original. I was baffled by this and called. When I spoke to customer service, I was put on extremely long holding periods while they supposedly looked into my loan. I was transferred to four different people and none of which could explain why my mortage payment increased. Finally I was told that my account had to be reviewed by an account specialist and I would be contacted in 7 days.

Well two weeks passed and that call never came, but a statement came in the mail reflecting the new payment. This prompted me to call back. When I called, I was given the same run around that I was given the first time, but the last representative, Beverly employee #771709, told me that my payment increase because there was an increase in the principal and not the interest rate on my loan. I have never known of the principal of a loan being increased without an increase in interest rate. I am no expert, but this sounds illegal to me. I demanded a copy of my note be mailed to me, and I will be visiting an attorney. All of the persons that I spoke with seemed very inexperienced. Terrible business!

I have tried to work with Nationstar Mortgage for years however I feel that they are trying to force me into foreclosure by continuously imposing outrageous on top of the high intrest rate of 9% that I already pay them and it is my opion that they are taking advatage of ordinary working people such as my self

Bank of America sold out loan to The Nationstar Mortgage Company in Texas. After one month they raised my monthly mortgagr payment to $ 4,024.68 from $2,514.54. I have sent them a registered mail asking them to reverse what they have done, but they have not even botthered to respond to my inquiry. We always paid our property taxes ourselves directly to the Los Angeles County. When Nationsar took over the loan they decided to pay the real estate taxes themselves and add a hefty escrow account of $11,452.15 to my loan & force us to pay over $1500 a month for it on top of our regular monthly mortgage. I have called, wrote letters to them with no reply from them. They are rip off artists. Someone should put them out of business.

URGENT / Problem with Nationstar's handling of my Home Mortgage / Nationstar Causing Serious Financial Hardship / Damage to my Wellbeing.

Please understand this is a serious plea for help as a last resort. I have lived in my modest home with my 96 year old grandmother for over 14 years. . My mortgage has been handed off multiple times; Countrywide, then, Bank of America and now Nationstar of Texas. I have never missed a mortgage payment (until I was basically told by Nationstar that I needed to miss payments to get approved for a modification). I was accepted in to an FHLMC backed modification which is now being denied by Nationstar due to a questionable banking error. They are now rejecting me and moving for foreclosure.

My career and money has been very tight and now my credit is damaged. Nationstar is claiming I have failed the modification trial period but this is untrue. My third trial payment was somehow lost in the cracks and because of this Nationstar is now rejecting all payments and causing me tremendous financial hardship.

They have been misleading, fraudulent and abusive. I have the funds in place to complete the trial and pay the first month of the modification and they are NOT allowing me. They have an extremely overworked boiler room staff and it is impossible to get to any authority within Nationstar. Most of the time you can not get anyone from Nationstar on the phone at all.

I am being forced into a desperate situation of having my grandmother and I tossed out on the street. I have their monthly payments ready and have a modest income, I simply can not cover the large backlog that had developed during the lengthy modification process (5 months of mortgage payments under the old agreement).

On Friday 04/12/2014 I sent a registered over night Cashier's Check to Nationstar's overnight payment box in Dallas, Texas for the third trial payment. I included a letter pleading with them to accept it. I now am asking for someone with authority to have Nationstar do the right thing and have my modification go through as promised. I firmly believe Nationstar has rigged the modification process to fail either through ineptitude, lack of professionalism or to fraudulently create more revenue for them.

Recent HUD statistics place Nationstar as ""the worst"" major non-performer in providing mortgage modifications (HUD Report of Dec 31, 2013).

In some cases customers have voiced on-line that Nationstar is guilty of racketeering in that it appears to be a broad based effort to purposefully mislead customers for Nationstar's advantage. I am not sure if this is far from the truth. I know for a fact that Nationstar has forced me into an extremely difficult financial situation while also destroying my wellbeing.

Please Help! I urgently invite any and all options to help with a less painful outcome.

Thank you for reading.

In regards to Nationstar, I have been having great trouble with them. It begins like this:

I have had a mortgage for eleven years. I first started with First Century bank for five years, and then went to First Horizon, a division of First Tennessee Bank, who sold my mortgage to Nationstar. There has never been any problems with my mortgage until Nationstar took over. I have never had an escrow account to cover the taxes and insurance, as I have always paid my own taxes and insurance. Nationstar first states that my insurance lapsed in November of 2012, of which they proceeded to get their own policy to cover this for over $2,000.00 per year and also set up an escrow account. Without my permission or knowledge. I never did pay this, and never will as my insurance has not ever lapsed.

My insurance agent has faxed proof of insurance well before the due date but to no avail. Nationstar claims they never received the fax, but my agent has proof that they did in fact receive the fax. I have consulted a lawyer, who wrote two letters, and it took Nationstar three months to get back to him, and they never mentioned a thing to my lawyer. Now Nationstar claims that I have filed bankruptcy, which I have not, according to my lawyer. The lawyer feels that Nationstar has no clue as to what they are doing. As you can see in my credit report I am not late on any of my creditors, yet, because of Nationstar, my creditors have lowered my limits and raised my interest rates. This past year, I paid my insurance, not due till November, as it was paid in October. I paid on my Discover card so that I would have proof it was paid. In November, Nationstar, paid my insurance on their own.

I know the insurance company notified them it was paid in October. The insurance company in December sent me a check for the full amount of the insurance, stating the Nationstar paid it in November. I called them and informed them that I was not cashing their check to leave my payment active, and send theirs back. Obviously they did this. In January, I got a letter stating they never received my insurance again, that it had lapsed. I called the insurance company and they showed it did not lapse, that it was good until November 2014. The insurance company faxed proof of insurance to Nationstar. At this time I have not received anything from Nationstar yet. The whole idea of Nationstar is to put THEIR insurance in effect at an outrageous price.

THIS IS FRAUD, no matter how you look at it. I am sending this letter to all three credit bureaus, and would appreciate you look at my credit and see that I am not behind on ANY creditors except for Nationstar. I have made every payment, and I have NOT been late, they keep adding THEIR escrow to it and I am not paying it. I have got every cancelled check as proof. From what I can understand, after talking to them, sometime way back when, they took my payment, and paid on their made up escrow account and showed my payment being late. In closing, I have sent my payments every month on time, and what they did with it is beyond my control. Through much investigation, I have found that there are over a thousand complaints, and several class action suits against Nationstar, Here are a few links to show what this company is doing

Due to an error with online payments, I payed twice for my monthly mortgage payment. I immediately called to remedy this, and was told that there was nothing that they would do. They told me to get in touch with my bank and deal with it on my end. In the meantime, I am overdrawn on my account, having had two mortgage payments deducted on the same day.

Of note, I had to call multiple imes to actually get through to a live person an when I did, it was obviously an international call with someone with limited english.

I recently put an offer in on a house in Dunnellon, FL that was listed as a short sale. The seller accepted my offer and the bid went to Nationstar. They neither accepted or denied my offer, but are requiring the realtor to hold an open house and list the house on Auction.com . I can not see how this can be legal. At the very least it's immoral. What are they trying to pull here? Are they trying to intimidate people in offering more? I'm beyond furious!

Our home (it's not just a house it was our home) was destroyed by 13,000 gallons of water on 8/27/2013. Our family has been in Hell since that day. We finally got through all the hoops and barriers for our insurance company (Assurant "AKA" Speciality Property) and a check was issued on 10/16/2013. Nationstar then said we needed to send the "Endorsed" check to them and they would dispurse the funds accordingly. We were first told we had to have a Liscensed/Bonded Contractor{Not required in the state of GA) so we did what they requested. After the contractor turned out to be a fraud (and several more after that) we called Nationstar and they said we didn't have to have a contractor and we could Sub-contract the work. We have spent thousands of dollars to meet there so called completion criteria-including meeting with their inspector and we still have not received a dime and we are still out of our home. The worst part was not being able to have Thanksgiving with our son who is in the Air Force and has always had a home cooked meal with his Mom and Dad. I could just cry thinking about Christmas(another hoiiday and still homeless. We just need and Angel for Guidance because Nationstar clearly does not care!16 more days till Christmas
