In Dec 2012 my wife asked for a Bowflex Treadclimber for Christmas. So i purchased the best model they had which was on a preChristmas sale. $ 3246.88 Which included 3 years warranty, free shipping. plus about 500 off the original price. Fine, ordered and it came. Assembled. ( very cheap bolts etc.for a large price and a basic machine. There isn't 300 dollars worth of materials in it; but it assembled and all pieces were included) Fine

This year, in April 2014 the machine dies. Just stopped working. After a couple of weeks of my wife missing her machine, i called Nautilus to see if we can fix this problem.. this went well, talked to a Steve ext 5109 He walked me through how to find what was not working, Discovered a mother board under the machine needed replacing, i was told no problem, it is on warranty we will ship the piece within 5 business days but allow up to 10 .

Well three weeks later we call and we are told there is a computer problem with shipping from the US to Canada. Odd but whatever. Told we would receive a call the next day to let us know we were being looked after. So two days later we call ( and note every time you call, you wait for a long time on hold to get to talk to anyone.)

This process has taken place several times now, The last three times getting through, we talk to a so-called supervisor, and they ramble on about their new computer and the problem they created etc etc.

My advice to them was to get another computer system if it takes several weeks and no action can be given to customer service. I also asked, "Is it not possible to have a superviser ask someone to go send one little part , for you must know where it is located, and I will even pay the freight" they can not do that ????How useless and stupid is it that you can not look after your customers especially ones that have already paid the price and have been waiting for weeks this is almost july for pete sake.

So we have a piece of excersize equipment torn apart in our living for now... months, and we are told today, they have no dea when they will ship us a part for it, to put it back together.

So my advice to you, is go look at one of these things and get a local machine shop to construct it slightly different to "HIS" specs , save a ton of money, and it will likely out last the person using it. Stay away from these guys . They have mentally handicapped employees and management that seems to back them. NOT a good deal.
