We moved out of our condo on great terms, we were always paid a month in advance through our entire lease and after buying a home we were waiting on our final bill. Well we never recieved one. We then got a call from Bette and she told us she was calling to collect a debt from our condo "since we didn't know how to pay our bills" I looked at my wife and said wow I am not goin to be able to talk to this woman for she was so disrespectful from the start. So my wife put her on speaker and let the woman know she was my wife and she would happily take care of the bill and that we were actually just waiting for our final bill and never recieved it. This Bette said excuse me but our not on the lease so I will not speak I you, so I stated I am also listening due to her being on speaker phone and Bette then again stated "what's the matter you stand on your own two feet?!" I was again in shock and at this point irate and I said just who do you think your talking to like that? And she said again "what? Ou can't stand on your own two feet?" I said lady your not goin to" and that's as far as I got when Bette chimed in and said "I don't have to listen to you I'm putting this on your credit!" "Did you hear me? (Laughed) I'm putting this on your credit for 7 years" all we heard then was the click of the phone being hung up. I have called several times trying to get this off my credit and there is no one else who runs this scam of a creditor but Bette Langley so of course she doesn't call me back or answer my calls. i have amazing credit till this nasty woman who doesn't obviously like lesbian couples being she's from Texas and thinks she can treat us like scum! Iv filed multiple complaints in which no one has gotten a call back from this woman and also contacted my attorney and given him this woman's recording, because yes if you calle and record the conversation I am also recording on my end. So I have all this nastiness recorded and she has a PO box so that no one can even get in touch and serve her papers. Imagine that! We will continue to find this woman so that she doesn't pull a power trip on someone else and ruine there credit over her own beliefs!
