New Jersey Professional Singles Reviews

Has anyone ever been lured in and deceived by New Jersey Singles Professional Matchmaking? Their on-line advertisements enticed me to go for a free 90-minute professional consultation at their Cherry Hill, NJ site telling me to bring my "wish list" for that perfect, professional and comparable companion as advertised, and bring either a credit card or check book.

After giving Janet Cober, the Membership Enrollment Counselor $2,000 charged to my credit card, their matchmakers, Linda and Pam, from King of Prussia, PA never followed through even remotely to match me with a comparable match. My third match was 69 years old and wanted to start the family he never had. I am 59 years old, baby factory closed for some time now, and he was disappointed while I was embarrassed. Shame on NJ Singles!

Kayla Fisher, the Corp. Office Supervisor refused to make things right, and after three incompatible introductions and three more to go, they dropped me for causing trouble and filing a complaint with the State of NJ Attorney General Office, Division of Consumer Affairs. Their volunteer mediator, Michael Smith, at 973-504-6100 told me that because I didn't pay the $4,000 they originally asked for, I did not get selective screening which meant they could send me anybody. In other words, it was okay to scam the $2,000 from me, and just send me anyone? By the way, it was Janet Cober's suggestion to take the $2,000 package, while still asking me what my ideal match would be and wish list. Confusing? Yes!

Michael Smith also sent me a letter stating that NJ Singles never responded to him, and since it was handled by "the ADR Unit" they had no legal enforcement power and cannot compel anyone to participate or force resolution. I called the Attorney General Office and spoke to Dee at (973) 504-6105 who originally appointed Michael Smith to my complaint, and she said she would follow up, but I never heard anything back.

I tried to file several complaints with other protection agencies, but was told there would have to be many complaints filed against a company to take action, otherwise it wasn't worth their time or effort. So I guess it's okay with our government if scam companies makes promises they do not intend to keep, giving the consumer a false sense of trust and security while taking large sums of cash under false pretenses. Isn't it time to stop the cheating and charades? This is America after all.
