In january of 2014 i purchase a nikon D5200 camera from a ebay seller, i have been studying this camera until december and i finaly found the focusing to be faulty. So i called Nikon thech support and complain obouth the problem they gave me a case number and a shipping label to send the camera to the service in New York, as they received the camera they shiped back imediately saying it is not a USA product so they don`t service it i replay it is NIKON, they told me to find were the camera is from and send it tere for repair.
So much for the famous name NIKON. Lousy theck support.
I purchased a coolpix s31 from target. the camera broke. I contacted the warranty dept followed the instructions. they kept my camera 30 days charged 7.50 to get it back and told me it has impact damaged the warranty is void. I have purchased many cameras over the years. This company is a slick ripoff. The reps will say with a smile there is nothing we can do. The tech lied abd said the parts inside are to expensieve to replace so we voided your warranty. They did not even over an exchange I would have gladly paid a little more for a better quality camera. but to blantly lie and say we damaged the inside is sad. Buy Canon they stand by there product or Minolta....Nikon is just a ripoff.

They have not explained why a 16.1 MP camera does not
produce images as good as a 10 MP!
All I want is my money back. I have only taken about
8 to 10 max pictures.
It is setting in a box in the closet. I have tried to
sell it but the best I was offered is $65.
