I drove from kc mo to portland or delivered my load had issues with the u joint company told me we well fix it as soon as you pick up the next load. got the next load drove to boise id got the truck fixed. about 140 milles out had a rear diff leaking all over the place dispatcher told me to deliver my load in ohio and they well get my truck fixed when i get back to kc. so i drove to salina ks had a shop look at it they said it was unsafe to drive need to get it into a truck shop asap before the rear diff locked up. so i decided to take it to my home town and have it fixed. im a least opt for nkc so i did what i thoght was right to get it off the highway. they called me i told them to send another driver to get the load they told me no get the load to ohio. so i went to the shop i had it at they said if i decied to move the truck they well call dot have it oos i told them they told me there calling the cops for stolen equipment.
this company well make you run on junk equipment and make you falisify logs to run there loads. i havent been paid for the loads i hauled they told me to bring the truck back and they well pay me which the shop has the truck. i went back to the shop and told them im taking it they told me the same thing and called the company. brett the company owner said i wont get my pay due to the stupidy i did and told me to not worry about the truck and get another job. i worked for this company in the past last time i brought the truck back he said think you but your not getting a check. i ran so much junk equipment for brett and falsifyed so many logs to run fright and i get no thanks nor pay. so if you want to work for a s***** company that doesnt care about the drivers here it is. if you look up there saftey ratings they suck. brett was fined 38,000 for unsafe operations so in other means this company is unsafe to the motoring public and you get offered a job stay away from them
This company is so bad, owner is a real POS. all he cares about is his wallet. if you work and do what he wants and do not mind not getting paid, let him harass and abuse you will be good. But when you leave you will not get paid what he owes you. As for his son he thinks he knows everything about trucking. He does not know a thing. There safety is non existing. they put people on the road that failed drug test, have suspended licenses, no medical cards. they expect you to run illegal and when you get caught it is your fault and you pay the price. They have no maintenance because he cannot buy parts. every vendor in town has shut him off. He loves to tell you who he is and you will here these words 15 time a day, "I am Brett Marshall and I own this company". He brags that he was a driver. He was not a driver, he is a drunk and he does not even have a drivers license, He got it taken away after 14 DWI's. I would run hard, Run fast, AND Run far away.
Iam sorry for any body that had a bad experiences at nkc,they have been a very careing company to me.this is a growing company,so please dont belive the lies that some people have said,because all the drivers i know that left have came right back to nkc.you have to realy screw up bad to get fired from here.like i said very understanding company will work with you if you need them to.i have been sick for over 2 months now and can work and they have been right by my side the hole time,and help me and my family any way they could,so please if you would like to drive over the road just call me and i will answer any questions you have and do my best to help you join our family at nkc..thanks Danny edwards 843 917 8807
