Northwest Companies Reviews

  • Jul 15, 2014

I have also been a victim of the Northwest Companies and noticed on Facebook that I am not the only one considering all of the negative posts other subs had posted (and now i cannot even access their facebook page anymore.....)

I am in the Lexington Kentucky area and worked with NW over the 2013 summer, just as the first post stated I felt obligated to get out and keep up my end of the work although they were not paying me. I kept being told that they where just a little behind on payments month after month. I finally quit providing services but I guess it was fine considering that I provided service up until the end of the fall months.

Just as the first post I have also been in contact with Harry Marsh and got the same run around. I had an attorney review my contract to find the same stipulation about not being able to sue unless I hire a attorney out of North Carolina. Something has got to give with this company and they need to be shown to the public that they are liars and thieves.

I would like to get in contact with the previous 2 posters I haven't completely wen thru the contract (left that up to my attorney) but is a class action lawsuit possible or is this another stipulation in the contract. Considering the crooks that they are im sure that it is in there somewhere. But if all possible you may contact me at (((REDACTED)))@yahoo.com I am curious if you guys where doing sub work for the same company whom northwest was contracting with and claim that they did not recieve payments from.

I first started working for Northwest Companies in early 2012 since they were looking for someone to maintain a commercial property in York, PA. So I agreed and signed my life away with paperwork. The relationship started out pretty well, we we mulching, mowing, did lawn apps, cleared the parking lot of debris, etc and they were only late on payments on a couple occasions. Then came Nov 2012. I started snow plowing this location and didn't get my monthly check from them. Dec, Jan, Feb all plowing, ice melting, shoveling, etc, no money. I'm under contract so I felt I needed to continue doing what I was doing. Spring hit, we mulched this entire property. Keep in mind, all these services was money directly out of my pocket for labor, materials, fuel, etc. Long story short, we mowed up until May 1, 2013 then decided not to do anything else until I received some back monies. Grass grew to be hip high, then they just got someone else to do the work. I am still owed approx $9000 for all the work I did. I've been in "contact" with their lawyer, Mr. Harry Marsh who said that if I file paperwork Greg Tigani (president of this "company") will put me on the back burner and not pay. If I follow their little "routine" and keep quiet, they will work something out with me. Well, still nothing from them and its almost 2014. I did everything I was supposed to on my end according to my contract. They just decided that they could use the money more than actually paying their vendors. The kicker is I tried to take them to court thru my lawyer in PA, and their is a stipulation that says if you want to take them to court, you must hire a North Carolina lawyer. So I have to retain the services of some lawyer down in NC to even try to get my money back. Northwest Company is NOT the real deal and they will rip you off!!!!

Northwest Companies contracted my business to handle 24 hour snow and ice services at a local store they represented, during the 2012-2013 winter season. They paid for some of the completed work at the beginning of the season, but did not pay the end of the season for an outstanding balance of over $2,000. They did not provide an explanation and I contacted them several times, including e mails to top management. All contacts were ignored.

I own a company in Texas. I provided landscape services at several locations of a national restauant chain for Northwest Companies. Work was performed through June 2013.

Greg Tigani and Northwest Companies owes me in more than $22k. They owe another Texas company more than $10k.

I'm consulting with an attorney regarding legal action since they broke their own contract. From what I have gathered, since the work occurred in Texas collection for non-payment of services could be initiated and processed in Texas.

When they still wanted something from me they would promise prompt payment. Funny how that check never got here. They don't respond to emails, calls or certified letters.

I don't care which one of Gregg Tigani's many companies pays me. I just want to be paid for the services provided.

Northwest Companies Property Management out of Indian Trail, NC is guilty of fraud. They hire landscape service providers for propeties they have out of state. Then do not pay them. Once you start complaining about not being paid, they fire you for "poor services" and then hire another service provider and do it again! I took over several of their properties in SW Florida, after they let their previous providers go. I even dished out over $7000 in material and plants for their properties only to be let go 3 1/2 months later, when I was complaining about not being paid on time per their contract. I still have not yet recieved payment from them. I contacted some of the previous providers and they said they are still waiting to get paid also. When I contacted the owners of the properties they all said they paid Northwest Companies and I needed to take it up with them. So basically, they get paid by the property owners, hire a landscaper, have him do as much work as he is willing to do without getting paid, when he complains, they fire him and more on to another one!!
