Mike Scarcia advertized his service on Craig's list and stated his expertise in Hardwood flooring. Mike is a likable person, easy to speak with and agree with. On April 21, 2014, over the phone, $600 was the agreed to price for the flooring. He promised to send you a receipt and a proposal.
He texts later and says he wants to increase the price because materials costs a lot. I increase it $100.
He texts the next day and says he needs to delay it a day.
He text and says he needs to day one more day.
He finally shows up and does a good job in one house. Then does an incomplete job in one house. He promises to return the next day to finish. He wants to be paid in cash. He is a very likable guy. He is married and has kids, goes to Yankee games etc. I pay him $700 in cash.
After many many phone calls and many many text and many many false promise to show up, Mike has not returned. No receipt or proposal were sent to me. He texts and says he does not mean to jerk me around.
When I threatened to report him,
he promises to return on 4/15/2014.
Then changes to 4/16/2014.
Then changes to 4/17/2014.
Mike Sarcia told me that he has only happy customers and have never had complaints.
I am not sure that his partner Joseph Nodal who has an LLC with him, Nosal/Sarcia Construction, knows how his partner is conducting himself.
