NPF Reports Division

Just received a letter today saying to sign a release form and send $20.00 in order that they may release 1.2 million dollars in cash to me... is this for real???? who falls for stuff like this??? I guess these people think that most people will risk $20.00 to find out ...after all its only $20... what the heck ... but think about all the "what the heck's" that respond ... 5 people will bring in $100 ... 50 people $1,000 ...and so on and so on ....with no phone # or physical address to track this division, they get away scott free...

On the certificate is asking for processing purposes to send $20 in a check, cash or money order payable to NPF and had a signature line for me to sign. It had a deadline of 10 days to reply. on the certificate it had complete and return ENTIRE PAGE in red. Is this sweepstake real?

no win

one more comment about this ripoff--the letter does not say that you won anything--they are careful to point out that you have not "yet" won anything and at least two times it states clearly that it is not even a sweepstakes entry--probably makes it legal for them to do this somehow

total scam

I have received these same notices for years now, even though I have moved from VA to Hawaii, and then to FL--You would think the Justice Dept. or some other division could investigate and bust these people and shut them down once and for all because I am sure there are a lot of uneducated people who fall for scams like these!

winner 1.2 million dollars

Our letter was the same as the ones above. In today's economy 20 dollars is a lot of money. How can this be legal. When u live on a fixed income $20 might be the difference between eating another day or being able to pay your co pay on medicines..This is totally a rip-off. Yes it says u are definitely a winner but they want u to buy the report that shows you are on a list along with how many others, what is sad is that some people will actually fall for this because they are so poor and a chance to win big money and live a comfortable life is everyones dream.

NPF WIN OF $1.2MILLION

Sat May 14,2016, just received this letter from NPF P.O.BOX 27, PLAINVIEW N.Y. 11803 INFORMING ME THAT I HAVE WON $1.2MILLION. SIGN BELOW AND RETURN ENTIRE PAGES WITH $20.

THEY GIVE NO PHYSICAL AS OR PHONE NUMBER.

THE "N" IN NPF PROBABLY STANDS FOR"NIGERIAN" BECAUSE THAT AFRICAN COUNTRY HAS A LONG HISTORY OF SCAMS BY LETTER AND EMAIL. Someone stated that $20 us not a lot of money, which is true, but multiply $20.00 by 10, 100, 1000, etc and you're looking at a ton of money going into their hands, FRAUDULENTLY!!! Why are they being allowed to perpetrate such a scam? I was under the impression that something like this is considered MAIL FRAUD and is prosecuted by LAW. No I have NO INTENTION of sending them $20 and I suggest you also refuse. The NY.State ATTORNEY GENERAL really needs to investigate this so-called company NPF. Thanks!

I just received the same letter in the mail today. It is ashamed what some people will do to get money out of others. I sure hope most people will look this up, I am laid off from work, and it sounds real good. But $20.00 could buy milk and bread for me to put on the table.

NPF Scam Letter

Unfortunately my mother received this letter and sent the $20.00. Makes me sad to see her get ripped off. But the letter does sound quite official, so I can see where people might get fooled.

  • Jul 30, 2015

got letter from NPF

Saying I won 1.2 million dollars. I have never been this lucky. I know it's a scam and they not getting my hard earned $20.00. Some people just don't quit.

  • Jul 28, 2015

I received a letter in the mail today that is from a company named NPF. Included in the letter is a return envelope with their address and a very fancy embossed multi-colored officialish looking letter notifying me that I have won 1.200,000. I was asked to send the the amount of $20.00 which they call a"report fee". They ask me to sign my name by three significant sentences all of which are total fraud.

I was going to take the time to write out the letter but I am adding to one that was already reported. Obviously they had some success with their fraud as they are doing it a second time.

Even though I love mafia movies and crime shows on television it greatly upsets me that an elderly person could receive this letter in the mail and then send them $20.00 and never hear from them again or even worse if they do send the money the thief knows they have a person to take advantage of and willl reel in the person with more bait by saying that they had been selected out of a number of people in order to get more money from them.

To me these are pathetic losers who are using the USPS to abuse its power and obtaining lists from god knows where and it needs to be reported so others do not fall victim to this letter or NPF whoever they are. I am calling the po po on you tomorrow NPF so better move that PO box and whoever paid for it for a year in advance in cash as they use the box at the post office to steal and hustle money off the elderly. Shame on you NPF. It should stand for NEVER PUT $ in the Fricking Envelope. They forgot the E. Obviously.

So good luck to you.

Frank from Ca.

I believe this to be a scam. On the certificate, the 3rd. item to be checked has a misspelled word AN. I think it should be AND. No legal document would have this occurrence Easy money if you can get people to buy in to it..

I, also, received the same letter. I hope the people report this as I have, they stand to make a lot of money. That is a shame because I sure could have used 1, 200.000.00 ! I certainly do hope that don't get away with this scam.
