I ordered what I was led to believe a sample trial of NuDerma firming face serum and Vibrante eye creme for the cost of shipping which was $4.95 each.
After 14 days I thought I would be contacted either through phone or e-mail wanting to know how I liked the product and if I would be ordering more. No where was there any mention of the cost at that time.
After 14 days I was charged $89.85 for the one and $89.15 for the other "free" product. A total of $179 plus the original $4.95 shipping cost. I was put on a automatic monthly ship for the same amount.
I feel this has been false advertising and un-authorized use of my credit card. I was also very rudely told there was nothing I could do about it and the credit card company could not do anything either. They do not know what customer service really is and sad that they continue these practices.
They sign you up for a subscription, but don't tell you. You are auto charged on your credit card. The name on the credit card is not Nu Derm. It is called mydivineskin for 89.85 and eleganangskn for 89.15.
I have had the same awful experience with this company, have been treated rudely by every person I've spoken to on the phone, told I made no cancellation, and , certainly, was not refunded my money ! Who are these people anyway ? 89.95 x 2 plus shipping and overdraft charges to boot !
Hard to keep foul language and my blood pressure in check when dealing with this kind of scam !
Anyone know how to get money refunded out of these rip off artists ?
I ordered Nu Derma skincare sample together with Vibrante sample from ad online offering 2 skincare product samples to be used together,at cost of mailing only for $4.95 each for the samples. The charge of $9.90 was withdrawn from my account within a couple of minutes. I immediately called my bank and canceled the card upon their advice,that no other charges could be made on that card number. I should have known something was wrong when they did not include ability to use Paypal where they dont get the numbers on your card. On Nov 26 I received notice from both NuDerma and Vibrante that the shipment had been made. The notice gave a tracking # but no address of the companies, only a 800 phone number for questions. I called the Vibrante phone number first and was connected with "customer service" Ann. I told her to close my account, I had canceled my credit card and no further charges to my card could be made. She agreed to cancel my account. Then I called NuDerma, was connected to customer service, and told her there were 11000 complaints about the company charging 100's of $ without permission, so I had canceled my credit card and they could not make any other charges to that card, and if they tried I would bring criminal charges for fraud against them. She refused to close my account, said the complaints were lies, to which I answered 11000 people couldnt all be lying and she hung up on me without agreeing to close my account. Hopefully the bank will not honor or transfer any charges to my new card. I'll let you know, but to charge $160 repeatedly for 1 set of samples, once they have your card #, without your knowledge or permission is outrageously criminal.
