I saw the ad on facebook for a free trial, and I only had to pay shipping. For the low cost, I thought sure. When I ordered I was asked about agreeing to the terms and conditions, which I thought meant paying the shipping for the free trial. Never was it disclosed that I was entering into a monthly subscription.

I called the business phone number found on my credit card. Was told I owe the money because they sent me a whole months supply not just a trial amount. After 10 days of trying the pills, I tossed them. They did not work. Didn't think I had to call to return anything as I only ordered a free trial of the supplement. Was told I have to pay this.

Contacted BBB but am waiting for a response.

Contacted credit card company to dispute charges.

Then I contacted the business AGAIN to end the subscription service......certainly don't want more of this!!

I just want the charges credit back to my account. The business uses false advertising making false claims and by their own omission NEVER disclose the REAL terms of the trial offer. This is a scam.

I ordered a "free sample" of Garcinia Cambrogia and Detox Max. I used it as recommended but saw absolutely no change in my weight or health.

Upon receipt of my next credit card bill, I noticed I'd been charged 78.20 for the Detoxmax and 79.50 for the Garcinia.

I emailed the company and was told they could not do anything unless I spoke with them in person. Refused to stop shipments at that time.

Called today, was given an address where I could return unopened bottles, but could not credit what had already been billed! They said they had stopped further shipments and charges. We'll see. I'm not feeling confident.

Never have I been so obviously ripped-off as I have been for the Nutra Life Garcinia Cambogia dietary supplement. First of all, the product "sample" was supposed to cost $6.95. I also purchased the Natural De-tox for $6.95. I received one bottle of the Garcina and NO bottle of the detox. Almost immediately, my account for charged over 140+ for the next month's supply (which I never received). I called numerous times and called the Better Business Bureau since no one would return my calls or answer my e-mail. Apparently this is a pattern of this company. This company is simply ripping people off--stealing their money and never even bothering to send a product or have any sort of customer service. I suspect there is some guy sitting in his basement racking up lots of money by sending out bogus bottles once but never again and never canceling if asked to do so. This really is a criminal act.

This Company advertised 2 products Garcina Cambogia and Pure Detox for a trial sample. The cost was $6.95 and 6.94.

This amounts were charged on my credit card on 5/17/2015 and I received the products as advertised.

On 6/2/2015, I was charged $79.50 and $78.50 without my knowledge or consent.

On 7/2/2015, I am charge again $79.50 and $78.50, again without my knowledge or consent.

I have not received any products since the original trial shipment, nor do I wish to receive anything from these scam artists.

Should I receive anything, I will return it.

June 12, 2015 saw an add for GARCINIA Cambogia Slim and Pure Detox Max a weight loss and detox for a free trial pay only shipping of both one for $6.95 second for $6.94. Tried gained 3 pounds. Don't know what detox was supposed to do either as it did nothing. On June 28, 2015 While checking my account they charged me $79.50 over drawing my account plus my bank charged me $25.00 overdraft fee.

When I received the pills no information was enclosed. Nothing about being charged anything extra. When I called company they said I was supposed to call them to cancel and after arguring she said she could only reimburse me $35.00 I already don't have enough money this month for my high blood pressure meds now I have less than $75.00 for groceries. I am 75 years old and this company is Bad News.

I ordered this product and was told that I could not use due to a medical issue. I called a week ago to cancel, and was told that I would not be charged. I never recieved anything else in mail.

A week later my account is showing they took out 157.00 between two accounts. I called back and they say I never called and will not refund my money. I asked to speak to superviser and said that wasnt allowed. None available. They will give me 14.00 dollars back! I never recieved any more info on product after first order and recieved the order only two weeks ago.

I used two different credit cards a visa and a mastercard for both.( 1 for each product.)

I ordered a free sample of 2 items payed for shipping expeded to get free samples. got a full bottle 90 days worth. I was suppose to get them in only a couple days. I recieved them in about 2 weeks or after. Just in time to send them back!! I tried to call them and they could not find me in there records. soo I asked to speak to a supervisor and they did not come to the phone and so I hung up after about 5 minutes. they did how ever mange to find me to charge me 160.00 dollars for 2 bottles!! at the health food store the same thing is 17.00 per bottle. this company is a ripoff!! I did use my credit card and they have everything on hold.

DO NOT BE TAKEN BY THEIR "1 BOTTLE PRICE" - COMPLETE RIP OFF!!

Was looking on the web for Detox information. Was taken to website showing Pure Detox Max. Saw the 1 bottle price of $6.95. Placed that order, was then taken to another page showing the combination of adding Garcinia Slim 90 was recommended. One bottle was listed at $6.94, so thought "Why Not?" I DID read the website, because I wanted to make sure I was not getting some automatic shipment set up if I purchased the products. I did NOT see anything regarding a trial period, automatic shipment, etc. so I completed the transaction.

Order was placed on May 14, 2015 and was shipped 5/15/2015 (Friday). I received both bottles in one box. I took the pills for 3 days following instructions, but got sick. so I stopped. Frankly, I did not think anymore about them. $14 down the drain.

Later when I printed out my Credit Card statement, however, I received a shock. On May 31 I was charged $78.20 and $79.50 from DETOX-NOW and GARCINIA-NOW. I called the company June 30, 2015 to ask if I had accidentally been set up on automatic shipment and if so, to inform them I had NOT received anything and I did not WANT to receive anything. I was told there was a 14 day TRIAL on both bottles of pills and that since I had not RETURNED my UNOPENED bottles during that time frame, this was the actual price of the supplements.

I explained that I had gotten sick from taking the pills, I would gladly return the bottles, and that I did have my label for returning the items and wanted a RMA. The representative explained that I could ONLY return UNOPENED bottles. I asked how could you try the product if the bottles were UNOPENED?

She explained that I could NOT get a refund and that I DID owe the additional $157.70. I said I did not want any additional product from her and that I was going to DISPUTE the charges. She said, "I will close your account mam and you will never be able to order from us again." I told her that was perfectly fine with me!

I live in the country and purchase a lot of items online. Amazon, Blair, e-Bay, drugstore.com, J.C. Penney's, etc. and even do a lot of my pharmacy purchases online. I try to be very careful and NOT allow myself to be "taken" by online offers.

This is a PURE RIPOFF! Not only did the product make me sick and did not work as advertised, they charged the ADDITIONAL $157.70 and refused a refund.

Next step: Filing the Dispute with Master Card.

I got ripped by Nutra Life Brands too. I also thought that I was only getting a "free trial". When I was scrolling through my Facebook page, I saw the add with the military wife that surprised her husband by losing all the weight with Garcinia. I got really curious and wanted to try it, because it all looked legitimate to me. And it also said that all I had to pay was the shipping fee. So I ordered the free trial. Two weeks later, I got two bottles and then a couple days after that, I tried to make a payment for a bill that I had with my card and it said that I did not have enough funds in there. I was shocked and thought that it was a mistake, so I called the bank. Sure enough, Nutra Life Brands charged me the two bottles that I got for over a hundred dollars. I was so upset because I did not plan on paying over a hundred dollars for some weight loss bills. I tried to call the toll free number, but it was already closed for the day. I am going to fight this and will make sure I get all my money back, including the shipping costs. I should have known better not to trust anything online. Please, whoever reads this, do not make the same mistake that I made.

The offer never mentioned anything about additional charges. It was requested that I pay the shipping charges and the trials were free. I received by shipment a week after ordering. I had placed a separate order for each of the products, and was charged two separate shipping charges ($6.94 and $6.95) for the shipment which arrived in one package, weighed 6.5 ounces and was sent by USPS. I looked up how much it actually cost to send the package. Their actual shipping charge was $3.34. I called two days after receiving my shipment, and requested to close my account and for no more product to be shipped. The Nutra Life Brand representative told me to return the product, or they would bill me for the full amount of the product. She said it was only a two week trial, and I owed them for the product I received if I did not return the two bottles to them. I told her that was not true, being the offer stated the only charges would be for shipping, and that was all I agreed to, which I told her they had overcharged on the actual shipping charges. I have closed my charge card that I used for this purchase so they will be unable to charge me any further. THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM. I also have been trying to find the website where I originally ordered the Garcinia Slim 90 and the Pure Detox Max, and have been unable to find it again. It would be nice if the Attorney General could close down this business who is misrepresenting online what the charges will be. One further note: When I called the 800 number to close this account, the line rang for more than 20 minutes.

Nutra Life Company is a deceptive business. I was rerouted on the internet to the website for ordering the Garcinia Slim 90 and the Pure Detox Max. The offer never mentioned anything about any charge to my credit card other than the shipping charges. The two products were offered as a free trial. I placed my order on June 1, 2015 and received it on June 8, 2015 (a week later). The two products arrived in one package which weighed 6.5 ounces and was sent by the United States Postal Service. I went onto the USPS website and the actual shipment cost should have been $3.34. I was charged a shipping charge for each item, $6.94 for the Garcinia, and $6.95 for the Detox. I was reading online that Garcinia should be a minimum of 80% HCA to be effective and should not contain any calcium. The product I received was 60% HCA and also included calcium. I called the 800.820.9822 to notify them to close my account and not not send any more product since I was not happy with the shipment. After dialing the number I waited for the line to ring over 20 minutes. When the representative answered my call, and I notified her that I did not wish to receive any further shipments, she said I must return the the products I have already received or they would be charging me full purchase price for each product which she mentioned was over $70 for each bottle. I informed her that I would be doing no such thing. I was not returning the product to them because the two bottles were offered as free trials and the offer stated the only charges would be for the shipping. I told her I had already paid too much in the shipping and I was not going to incur paying additional shipping to return the "free trial" product back to them. She gave me a Return Merchandise Authorization number to record on the outside of my package. I hung up and closed my credit card account which I used for the purchase so I would not be charged any further by this company. If anyone else is interested in ordering Garcinia Cambogia, please please please do not chose Nutra Life Brands. They are not a reputable company to do business with. The Florida Attorney General should shut down this operation for their questionable business practices, to prevent further customers from being defrauded. One further note: I have tried to find the original website where I placed my original order from Nutra Life Company and have not been able to find it.

This company refuses to answer their phone, with continued shipments of their products, which have not been ordered. After a trial, they have contintinued to ship and charge my credit card, even though I have discontinued this via Bank of America. I guess I will need to end my lengthy business with them as well.

I was charged 155.00 for subscriptions I didn't authorize. Customer service stated that I checked the agreement when ordering. I explained that I never saw an agreement because during my ordering it jumped to another screen. When I backed out of the screen they had already charged my card. I tried to explain this to her several times at which she told me she would cancel my order and there would be no refund. She said she already had my money and that she was hanging up and did.

I responded to a "Trial" offer for a two week sample of their product all I had to pay was $6.95 for processing. When I received the product it was not a two week supply but a 30 day supply. Their packing invoice started that I would need a RMA # to return product. I immediately attempted to call then to let them know I did not want the 30 day supply. I was on hold for 20 minutes and no one answered kept getting a recording that they were busy assisting other customers but I croups leave a message so someone would call me back. Two days later I called again and the same thing. I made numerous attempts to call them but no response from them. A we weeks ago I get a charge for $60 I immediately called them again I was unable to speak to someone. I noticed on the bottle there was an email for support so I emailed them letting them know that I was not happy with their company and that I would file a police report. I received a response letting me know someone would be calling me within 24-48hrs. The next day I received a call and I was told that I needed to send product back and was given a RMA number. I sent product back they have received it according to tracking number but I have yet to receive my refund. They have now changed their phone options and u can speak to someone immediately. The woman I spoke to said. that they can't refund until their warehouse receives the product I told her that according to USPS they have received product. I'm waiting for a supervisor to call me.

This company is a scam operation. They advertise there is only a $6.95 shipping fee and then charge your account over $70.00 two weeks later.

When you finally reach them they give some song and dance about refunding the money if you send back the unused product. They give you a number and you send it back.

Two months later I still haven't received my refund and when I called (after being on hold for over ten minutes) I got a unpleasant and rude individual who claimed there was no record of their ever giving me a return number. She was extremely rude and casutic and when I asked to speak to a manager she made another rude comment at which point I lost my temper. My comment was, "alright smart a*s". She asked me to repeat what I said so she could hang up on me and I said fine and hung up on her.

I have a heart transplant and diabetes and my medications are extremely expensive. I can't afford to lose that kind of money since I live on social security.

My report is identical to others who have been scammed by this "catch me if you can" low life operation. I ordered 1 free trial bottle of Garcinia Cambogia which was to be "free" for the $6.94 shipping fee. Two weeks later they withdrew funds from my bank account in the amount of $79.50 which I did not authorized! I tried emailing them and the email was returned as not deliverable (bogus email). I called them at 800-820-9822 and they wouldn't answer seeing my name on caller id, so I dialed *67 and the number and they picked up the phone. I was spoken to rudely, and hung up on. I did not swear at them or give them cause to hang up on me. I called again and the person who answered the phone and wouldn't answer my questions and finally hung up on me. They are clearly scam artists and probably make a fortune withdrawing money from unsuspecting customers and perhaps move around to different locations. Why Dr. Oz hasn't stepped in to protect his name I haven't a clue, unless he is part of this. I am a senior and live on meager income and can't afford this money being removed from my account with no way to recover it. Regardless, NO one should have money removed from their bank account without approval. These folks are slippery and not to be trusted.

After I voiced my complaint by phone I received an email from them about 1/2 hr later stating my account was cancelled, with no mention of a refund which is what I had requested. So this is how they rig it, they get your debit card to pay for shipping then knowingly trump up large charges removing money from your bank account or credit card with lame excuses as if it's your fault. The bank in turn hands the matter back over to you and you end up being out of the money that Nutralifebrands/Dr. Oz has taken from you under the guise of a "free trial" offer. It's false advertising. It is just plain dishonest and criminal behavior as far as I am concerned.

I ordered the Pure Detox Max, intending to cancel and pay only the shipping, as advertised.

My order was shipped on 3/30/2015. When I phoned the indicated number (866-492-6596) to request a return merchandise authorization, the phone rang and rang, with periodic voice-over indicating that my call would be answered in the order received. After 20 minutes (I had it on speaker phone while I was cooking), it went into a busy signal. I called back and it repeated the same cycle. The message did include an option to press '6' and leave a message for a call back within 24 hours. I left my name and number - and still have not heard back. I even left my message on all 4 product lines. I have periodically repeated my attempts, with no success in reaching an agent.

This is quite a racket! If you can't reach them to cancel, then you are hooked into the obligation.

I went online to get my free trial of garcinia cambogia slim and paid 4.95$ shipping and handling, I only wanted that one bottle and now they continue to charge my account for more and more money when I did not authorize a re accruing card purchase. I've called the number and left several messages and never get a return phone call. I've also sent emails after emails to them requesting my money back in return for the un opened bottles. I am a single mother and now my account is 56$ in the negative and I cannot afford for this to keep happening. Please help me.

Advertised on the Internet Facebook page. At 84 years of age I should have known better.

I tried many times to contact the company by phone and all I can do is leave a message and get a recording that says someone will call me back within 24 business hours. Another LIE!! No one ever called me back after 5 or 6 calls to them.

The company charged my credit card about $13 for "shipping and handling" only and sent 2 products- which I have not opened- as I realized what a stupid thing I'd done.

So I called my credit card company and wanted to dispute the charges but the clerk knew that the charges were not for product but only for "shipping and handling" and that had to be paid. She also said she would make a notation on my account that if the company tried to charge me for more product in the future, the credit card company would dispute it. So the credit card co. had dealt with Nutra Life and knew it's tactics.

Now Nutra Life has billed me for 2 products for $150+ on my charge card which I have not recieved or ordered. I have to dispute those charges and pray the credit card will NOT allow those charges to stand. So annoying!!

Evidently with all the many complaints about this company it is a scam and should be shut down YESTERDAY! Why is it allowed to keep on scaming folks??

WARNING!!!!!! Do Not purchase Garcinia Cambogia or Detox MAx through this company. They offered me a FREE 30 DAY Supply of these products and only requested Shipping of $6.95 per bottle.

I was told these products would be delivered on April 14th 2015- they did not arrive until April 21, 2015

I never received a receipt of purchase, either by email or in the actual package, but my bank account was charged immediately. I did not have a contact # to call and request tracking.

I was never told that additional money would be deducted for any reason. I was charged an additional 78.20 and 79.50 on April 28, 2015

I tried to call and was on hold for over 20 mins, I left a message and have yet to receive a phone call back.

I ordered the pure detox max and cambrogia slim. You have 14 days to cancel your account or they will charge you almost $80 a piece. I have been trying to contact them by email and phone for almost 2 weeks now. Only to be put on hold for 15 minutes then sent to voicemail. Called multiple times. The day after my 14 day trial ended, they had a representative call me. Of course I got billed $160. This place is such a rip off!

First of all, the find line is that the pills makes you sick. You get the pills and they say that diabetics should watch taking them. They send the diabetics up alot and also reaction that is a allergy . So I was unable to take them. I was never told that they would charge me 79.50 for the Garcina and 78.20 for the the detox . You are put on hold when you call forever. They say they will get back to you within 24 hours. This a ripoff Ednamae Fredericksburg,Ohio

I clicked on an add on facebok for a free trial of Pure Detx and Garcinia Cambogia. Pay only shiping/handling ad receive a 30 day supply, the add said. The pilles gave me heartburn so bad after the 6th day I stopped taking them with the intention of calling and cancellng to make sure that they would not send me anymore and charge my card.

On the 18th day after I ordered the free trial, my card was charged $78.20 for the Pure Detox and $79.50 for the Garcinia Cambogia. I called the support number they provided immediatley as I was sure this was an error. My first call I was on hold for 20 minutes, a voice finally came on the line and said, 'Please hold", and then I heard nothing but dial tone. I called back and waited on hold for ANOTHER 20 minutes, and was hung up on again. I was so mad at this point but I had to leave work so I called once again on from my cell phone. After waiting on hold for another 20 minutes I finally spoke with someone. I exlained what had haened and that I was nder the imression that I had 30 das to cancel, she then told me that it was not a 30 day free trial but only a 14 day free trial. The line went fuzzy and I was either hung up on again, or my cell hne dropped the call. She was so unprofessional it came clear to me that this is not an actual business and this is a scam.

Very irritated, I returned to work and wet back to the advertisement that I ordered from. The add just said "Free trial", when you click on it it says "30 day supply, only pay shipping", when you get to the payment screen at the very bottom in LIGHT GRAY faded out letters, it says that your card will be charged after 14 days, so it TECHNICALLY did not say FREE 30 DAY TRIAL.....Such a rippoff and complete misadvertisement.

So I emailed the support line provided. I received an email back from them the day after saying that my money would be refunded to me. Shortly after my bank was credited $30.00 for the Pure Detox and $30.00 Garcinia Cambogia. I have emailed the requesting to speak to a supervisor, I have tried to call and I get absolutely no answer/response! I continue because now, it all about the principle! Scumbags!
