My husband and i rented a rental property through one step reality in july. He told us that the city was involved and said he will make sure everything would get fixed before the inspector showed up. So we moved in while someone was working on the place in which i later found out the worker was not a licensed contractor. So the inspector should up at the end of aug. He found 11 violations in the home. Mike anderson had until the end of oct.to have everything fixed. Nothing was getting fixed and noone never showed up. So in the middle of oct. My 14yr old daughter got hurt because of one of the violations. So i contacted mike anderson to inform him that he needs to get all violations fixed because my daughter got hurt and not a safe home to live in. He sent someone out and got the winfow fixed in which again not a licensed contractor. So the end of oct. The same inspector came out.
The inspector looked around then left. Didnt say anything to us. In nov. I fohnd out that the inspector closed the case even though not all violations got completed. So now mike anderson is trying to take us to court for non paynent of rent. I really need some legal help to stop him from doing this to my family and any other family that he doing this to. If anyone has any advice or knows a good lawyer then please help.
