I will NEVER EVER send business EVER to One Guard. I gave them multiple chances to fix this problem and they choose to stand their ground. When you call my husband over and over and over in March 2014 hounding him to renew the policy during a time that he is taking care of a 6 week old baby and a Wife who just had Kidney Cancer surgery, a 5 year old, and he had just returned home 4 months prior from serving a tour in Afghanistan. I don't blame him for being overwhelmed and wanting your insistent phone calls to go away, so he said we want to cancel. going to tell you he wants to cancel. I apologize that renewing a policy during a time of kidney cancer, CT Scans, a newborn baby and hospital visits was not his main priority. We have FINALLY been able to settle back into a routine and my health has been stabilized (Thank You God) We realized we did not renew when we had a minor item come up. We set up a BRAND NEW policy and called 4 days after signing up. You THEN want to tell me that you will not service this issue because we did not call on July 1st when the policy goes into effect, and this is now a pre-existing issue? I gave ALL of the details to our situation to you and you decided to NOT BUDGE AT ALL. That absolutely sickens me and shows me that you treat your clients like cattle not human beings with true issues. To ALL of the Agent's who I used to tell only use One Guard. I take it ALL back!!! If this would have happened to one of my Team's clients, I would physically be sick to my stomach. I am thinking of sending this to the news stations because I will make it my mission NOBODY is treated this way. Shame on you. Seriously SHAME ON YOU.I will NEVER EVER send business EVER to One Guard. I gave them multiple chances to fix this problem and they choose to stand their ground. This is one of the worse companies I have ever dealt with in my life. They claim to be a very reliable, customer focused, helpful and service oriented company. Based on my experience, none of their claims are true. The hot water heater failed in the home that I recently purchased in Sun Lakes, Arizona. When you call them with the claim they put you on hold for a lengthy period of time and when you do talk to a representative they spend more time telling you what they can't do then what they can do to help you. The representative gave me information that was incorrect on when the contractor was available to assess the damage and replace the hot water heater. When I contacted the contractors they said the information provided by One Guard was incorrect. When I called One Guard and informed them that I needed to get this fixed soon because I was leaving town for four months, they told me that I would have to wait to get the repairs done until I returned. I informed them that I had a contractor who could get the water heater replaced before I left town. They said if I have the water heater replaced by another contractor they would not pay any of the cost. When I requested to speak to someone about an exception the representative informed me that there were no exceptions! Accordingly, I had to have the water heater replaced myself at my own expense. If you need a home warranty policy, I highly suggest that you avoid One Guard --- they're worthless!
