Openpasts.com is a shameful, shady extortionist operation wherein people are charged to remove their arrest report and mugshot that the company has lifted from public domain and used in combination with Search Engine Optimization efforts to ruin said person's internet reputation. They charge exorbitant "fees" ("BRIBERY") to remove the photos from their site that gallivants as a helpful site by calling itself "Open Pasts". Nothing could be further from the truth. THIS is done to simply put money in the site owner's pockets, not as a service to the community.
KEEP in mind that openpasts.com is blasting a person's mugshot from an arrest, along with the arrest report. NOT WHAT A PERSON WAS ACTUALLY FOUND GUILTY OR NOT GUILTY OF. Therefore this is not a list of a person's disposition after a court of law rules, but rather the arresting officer's citations.

This company has gotten me almost killed, or some other violent crime about to happen to me. I am the victim of a serious crime and have reported this crime to the police however the police do nothing except take police reports. I have gotten no help at all from any of the courts because they say i have to go through a detective/police station. I have done this also with no help from the police depts, and now the person who is stalking me (different person from the violent crime committed to me) told me one of the places he has found me at was this website, > www.openpasts.com this offensive webiste has put every inch of information on me, including my address location, birthdate, and other personal info. The stalker continues to tell me websites that have my information. He contacts me through back alley ways, like gets my email or my phone number (even though its unlisted) and other means. I have asked www.openpasts.com to take me off their website, but they have not responded to me..I have also contacted the agency where this originated from and they say its public record. The opt out is not available for this website either. This website should be banned from the internet. I am scared for my life!! I feel helpless.
To have my name there for all to see is a disgrace. This company should be stopped as they dont know my circumstances. What gain do they get for this? My main goal here is to get my name removed from this site and not be extorted to do it. There is enough identity theft going on out there in the world, with people like this it just fuels the fire for that kind of activity. My name and address and phone and email,theres even a map that tells where i live. IF this is a fraudelent company who extorts people,why are they still on the internet,thats what i read so why have they not been shutdown? Thats my main objective here is why are they still on here. Isnt extortion a crime? Then why are they still being allowed to do this? Please i need my name removed from there without being blackmailed or extorted or whatever its being called!
