OurTime.com Reviews

This will be short and sweet. Ourtime.com makes it very difficult for customers to contact them if there are any technical difficulties including an inability to login to one's account and there is no customer service phone number, fax number or email. All they have is a message field for customers to fill out and send questions, etc. Replies are automated.

I have been 'locked out' of my account since late March/early April as it keeps saying that my login confirmation information is not correct. I try to change my password via a link that they send to my email but the process just goes full circle, leaving me without the ability to login at all. One must login to one's account to cancel membership. You see how frustrating this has been.

I would advise anyone against using this service until they are able to provide immediate customer service to their paying subscribers. It just isnt' worth the hassle and headache. I am turning to my credit card company now who have been very helpful in canceling the automated payments that have been filling Ourtime.com's bank account for many months now.

By the way, I am computer-savvy and have also had my niece try to assist me as I thought maybe I was missing something but it seems even the younger folks can't figure out how to communicate, cancel services with or do business with this company.

BEWARE! The Our Time dating site is filled with false profiles of imposters pretending to be your perfect mate and using photographs stolen from modeling or social networking sites. They are perfect. In fact, they're someone you could see yourself spending the rest of your life with. A decent person with a successful job and a house in search of a good, honest partner to settle down with.

In reality, this imposter is a criminal sitting in a cybercafe with a well rehearsed script he's used many times before to target single men and women who are searching for love online. He's hunting through chat rooms, dating sites and social networking sites searching for victims, looking to cash in on romance. If you are over 40, recently divorced, a widow, elderly or disabled then all the better in his eyes. Scammers are adept at psychological profiling, and use any weakness they find to their advantage.

It has become so prevalent that Dr. Phil even did an entire show on what he called "catfishing."

I signed up for Ourtime.com to meet singles for dating. I disabled the auto renewal and after payment cleared my credit card, they took down my photos as well as changed my account to an unpaid one! After 3 days and it was paid! Outright fraudulent! I am reporting them to Visa as well as the FBI online fraud companies and getting the charge reversed. Join a singles meetup in your city instead.Straight up thieves!!

I recently took out a 6-month subscription to OurTime dating site and have found that virtually every time I have sent a message a major portion of it has been deleted so that the recipient does not obtain vital information regarding contact data, instructions on how to access my photo, etc. I have repeatedly complained about this to OurTime to no avail. Because of this problem virtually all of the women I have written to have eventually given up and ended our correspondence. Thus, my experience with this dating site has been a complete waste of time and money.
