We partnered with Jim Flynn and Overlook TV to assist us with rebuilding one of our client's connected television channels and he has since totally ruined their channel, causing irreparable damages to our company and our reputation, to our relationship with the client, and ultimately to the client's channel. If you're thinking about working with Jim Flynn and Overlook TV on a Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Opera TV, Android or iPhone app, BEWARE!!

Jim Flynn outright lied to us just to be a part of our client's project just so he and his company could add our client to his resume, and so he could call our client his own for marketing purposes on his social media.

Jim Flynn promised us that his Overlook TV Platform could match the functionality and capabilities of the channel's previous platform while providing the advanced functionality it required for the rebuild. He presented himself as skilled and professional, but in the end his Overlook TV Platform proved outdated, riddled with bugs and inefficient and Jim Flynn proved to be an unprofessional, unethical, erratic, volatile and irrational bully.

The resulting channel Jim Flynn developed on his Overlook TV Platform is lackluster and boring compared to the previous version of the channel. Not only was he unable to duplicate the previous version of the channel, he was unable to provide anything remotely modern looking. The images were way too small, the colors didn't match the client colors, the client logo was misplaced and skewed, and the client-provided text was reproduced with misspellings, typos and extra characters.

The end result is a channel that reflects negatively on the client and the quality content they provide. Because of this, viewership is down and the client is losing money.

The Overlook TV Platform itself is loaded with bugs. It's obviously a work-in-progress that's never finished nor presentable. (Just ask him for a demo) Otherwise simple changes and updates require "hours" of work that Jim Flynn wants to bill you for. Even the simplest of changes that can easily be made on other, cheaper platforms require "extensive work" on Jim's part. (Or on the part of his "team" that he doesn't really have.)

Jim Flynn was to provide us with a portal for managing the channel -- that took a month -- so for an entire month, the client was unable to make changes and updates to their channel. Again, this resulted in lost viewers.

Finally when he did provide a protal, it was also loaded with bugs and broken links and lacked most of the functonality and capabilities he had promised. Some things worked, other things didn't, other things were still being worked on. We couldn't link thru to other channels, we couldn't make certain changes, we couldn't add pre-roll, mid-roll or post-roll ads, and so much more.

Bottom line, we were duped.

When we complained, Jim Flynn became irate and threatening. He demanded more money than initially agreed on. He fired off invoices -- one for $15,000 then he wanted $7500, then he changed it to $4750. He couldn't keep track of his own BS.

He terminated our agreement and fired off emails to our client, making demands, denying access, alleging malfeasance, calling into question our own skills and abilities, not to mention our personal character and integrity, and maliciously doing everything he could to "steal" the client away from us -- i.e., he threatened to shut down our client's channel if they didn't pay, and then emailed the client and told them WE said that!
