I received a Violation Notice with threat of suspension of driver’s license from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. The problem is the date of violation is 10/03/2014 when in fact the vehicle was not registered until 10/16/2014. The plates are new and I did not transfer. I did not have possession of these plates prior to 10-16-2014 and in fact this vehicle has never been in the area of the bogus violation.
