My father is named Redford E. Humes. He was 81 years old. He was married with three children and two grandchildren who are still trying to seek justice for his death. He lived on Bluegill Lane in The Forest Green Mobile Home Park in Hudson, Florida. He lived there for nine months. When they moved in the thermostat was damaged. There were holes in all of the walls and cockroaches everywhere. The stove barely worked and two weeks before my father went in to the hospital the air conditioner died. My father had suffered two heat strokes, heart congestion and fluid surrounded his heart, pneumonia and hemorrhaged from his lower intestines because of managements failure to fix and or replace the air conditioner. My family were called pest and told by the manager of The Forest Green Mobile Home Park to stop bothering them and the repair person, who was never called in the first place will come when they come. My father was a twenty year army veteran who was treated like he was just another rent payment instsead of being treated with the respect a paying tenant deserves. These parks need to be shut down before lack of sensible and responsible management kills another tenant.
