In February of 2014, I contacted Payless Financial Group to help me consolidate my payday loans. They made it sound easy and affordable to consolidate these loans. When I signed up, I gave them all the names and amounts of each payday lender and they figured out how much I would have to pay a month. I was first told it would cost me $136 per month and that they would stay in contact with me to keep me updated on how the loans were being paid.
I was told by Doug Grainger that he would contact me within two weeks to let me know the final cost would be $144 per month. When I didn't hear back from Doug, I called and talked with another representative (cannot remember her name and where i wrote her name down at) and she told me that the cost would be $144 bi-weekly. I argued that Doug told me it was on a monthly basis. I hesitantly agreed to go with them anyway.
I had contacted them on a monthly basis, but got put on permanent hold and could never talk to anyone. Today 7/14/14 I called to get the balances on my accounts and Doug's number was disconnected. So I looked online for a phone number, called it at 6 pm and an automated system answered and said their hours were from 8 am - 7 pm.
I called all my payday lenders to get my balances and told them I consolidated all my loans with Payless Financial Group and asked if any payments had been made by them. The response from all lenders were "there were no payments made"! I am highly upset and feel violated. I would like to talk to someone about trying to get my money back since they didn't do what they said they were going to do. Unfortunatley I cannot reach anyone at any numbers I find for them.
