Pbr Auto Sales Reviews

Upon purchasing this vehicle I found that the information provided to me during the application process was incorrect and misleading. The vehicle had several mechanical issues that surfaced immediately after I began making payments two weeks after the purchase. This vehicle broke down on three occasions within a month of purchase and I spoke to the management who stated that the vehicle had been "acting up" when their mechanic had used it for personal use and I responded in shock as I was not given this info before purchasing.

I continued to make my payments as scheduled, although upon singing the paperwork I was told I could pay on my pay day and this was later not the case. The vehicle broke down a 4th time before I had it for two months and I was very appalled. The dealership typed up a letter stating that if the vehicle were to break down again that I would be able to get a vehicle of equal or lesser value. The letter is not dated but it is signed and came from their back office printer. I can mail in a copy of this letter.

After paying on the vehicle for over a year I lost my job. I stayed in contact with the business and they came and got the vehicle which was once again broken down. I was having the repairs made so when they repossessed the vehicle some of the parts that were blocking timing belt were in my garage. I talked again with the business and we reached a verbal agreement. I would be in to pay the $400 to reinstate my willingness to continue purchase the vehicle upon picking the vehicle up after repairs were made. I went to the business with the parts that I had in my garage and dropped them off.

I was told I'd be given a call when my vehicle was ready and I again confirmed that I would be able to bring $400 and pick up where I left off. Several days later I finally got a text from the number they use to text customers with that I all include screen shots of. The text asks me if I would be bringing in the parts so that they could "fix and redeem." I let him know I had already turned the parts in and I was told that there was a miscommunication and that they were working on the car now. They said I would get a call or a text when the vehicle was ready.

Several days went by and I had tried to call and no one would pick up after I was placed on hold. Then I texted the number that they use and they answered after that. She said that somehow the engine had blown and that they were searching for another one to put in it. I knew this was not accurate, the timing belt simply needed replaced according to two other shops and according to pbr when they first took the vehicle. I asked where my belongings were that were in the vehicle and she said she didn't know. I asked what they played on doing she said she didn't know. I sent text the following day and asked where my belongings were and what they had discovered on the motor and I was told I had passed the 21 days allowed to go pick up the vehicle.

I had several hundreds of dollars worth of my personal belongings ranging from clothing to hygiene and parts that belonged to my previous employer that went inside of an ice cream machine. They never told me I could go get my belongings and I was made to believe that I was going to be getting the vehicle back very promptly. I was misinformed and manipulated by this car lot and am left with very few items of clothing due to the fact that I was in the process of cleaning my clothing and they had almost every item I have inside the vehicle.
