I called for replace of alternator on my truck and was instructed to it take to a nearby truck stop as their shop was full. Quoted 75.00 an hour and 156.00 for rebuilt alt. He arrived at 615 PM 715 PM. I was billed 187.00 labor 206.00 for alt. and 54.00 for road call. He told Me where to meet him, but then billed for a road call. He spent less than 1.25 hrs. repair but billed 2.5 hrs, and quoted part price as 156.00 but billed 206.00. When I stated that I didnt agree to that much, he said that a call to the delaware state police is all he needed to do for the money as they would impound my truck until the money was paid. I went into the truckstop and talked to the clerk. They said he was known for doing what he said. I paid... Dont call these people ..If you have to call them get a quote in writing in front of witnesses. Or better yet, call Any one else.
