I too was hit with recurring charges from these fraudsters. I may have missed some fine print, but had no intention of agreeing to a recurring service. I have disputed this with my credit card company, but thought I would warn otrhers away from these un ethical people.

surprised sucker

Yes , I too noticed on my credit card statement this month they took money out for a membership I wasn't aware of.... very frustrating!

They advertise on the internet that they offer a free 3 day trial for you to search for people, however they take your credit card number in case you want a permanent membership.

I signed on for a free trial....could not find the person I was looking for, so I promptly cancelled the service.

They are now billing my credit card. I have called 3 times....and they say that the "free search" is for me to see what they offer....the minute I put in a person's name I am charged $19.95

Each person I speak to is ruder than the previous one....and they insist on no refunds ever, for anybody.

I feel taken advantage of.

I requested a one time personal address and agreed to pay the one time fee of .99. In reviewing my credit card account used for this .99 charge, I see where I am now being charged a monthly fee of $24.95 by CFK People Finders. I have notified my credit card of this charge

I contacted peoplefinders.com for a one time use for locating a friends phone number or email address. I specifically selected the one time use option. as I only needed one number.

I didn't notice a debit of 24.95 in March, but did not it in April. I immeditely emailed the company. I received an email stating that the auto-renew was selected. It absolutely was not. I went to your website and noted that this has occured NUMEROUS times with this online company. All of the stories were the same.

This company needs to be stopped. I maade sure that I canelled immediately, but also noted that they continue to debit even after cancellation and even when one person discontinued their credit card and obtained a new one.

I contacted this company again and have received no communication again. This is also typical of this company. I am filing a complaint with the BBB, but there must be more that can be done.

Class action suit anyone?

This started when I looked at my credit card statement on April 13, 2014 and noticed there where two charges I couldn't account for. The one charge was for $29.95 from PEOPLEFINDERS.COM (Phone number: 800-718-8997 CA) and the other CKF*MY RELATIVES.COM (phone number: 955-639-031 CA). I used this web-site around August or September to find out the birthday of a deceased person I had known. I found the information and never used them again. I never saw anything about using the service for free for 90 days and then if you don't cancel you get to pay them for nothing every month.

When I check through my credit card statements, to my dismay I have be paying both these fees for nothing since the first charge dated September 24th, 2014 and yesterday when I cancelled the credit card. I called both companys and they told me about the free 90 day trial and said they would cancel it, but would not give me my money back. I told them they were crooks and I filed a complaint with my credit card company to dispute charges and i would also file a complaint. This is apparently a scam to steal money from people.

Additionally, I saw two other charges on my statement going back to April 28, 2014 and the other May 1, 2014 both in the amount of $14.95 each. One was called IC*SREWARDS.COM (Phone number: 888-895-2973 CT.) the other IC*FEECATION.COM (Phone number: 888-885-3404 CT.). I called and asked them what services were they providing for me and who authorized it and they said it was a rewards program and a discount program of some sort. I asked them who authorized it and they claimed my husband did and this to was a 90 day trial and should be cancelled after that time or be charged every month. I told them my husband could not possible ordered this, because he never gets involved in this kind of stuff. I handle everything and they were lying. I asked them was it ever use, they replied "no" and I told them I wanted all my money back. They said they would refund it, but I can't be sure that's why I filing a complaint and I filed a dispute with my credit card company also for these charges too. I know in the future I will have to check my statements throughly, but what's wrong with these people they are liars and thieves and get over whenever they can. They took advantage of me and I'm sure their are a lot others. They should be punished.

This sounds like a reasonable thing: they charge you a nominal fee for a 3 day trial membership you can use to find someone. Casncel before your trial is up and that will be that, they say. Thing is, even if you do cancel, they'll start charging you $24.95 a month. Don't even do the trial. It's just a scam to get you roped into their monthly cash grab.

On 3-10-2015 I ordered membership for Peoplefinders.com using my credit card for $19.95. The website said they provided up to date information from public data bases. I did a search for someone and got very little information. I also clicked on a link by mistake (as their website was confusing) which led me to another company who wanted more money.

I called People finders who informed me of my mistake. After being frustrated I logged off and tried again a few days later this time using my own name for the search so I could see how accurate the information was. When "my report" arrived a few minutes later it contained information that was several years old. I was too angry to call so I waited until 3-16-15.

I called and asked that my account be closed and demanded a refund. They were very rude and said there would be no refund as I agreed to the terms when I signed up. I said I sent your $19.95 for a service you did not come even close to providing, that your offer was grossly misleading and I wanted my refund. The woman was so rude I asked for a supervisor.

The supervisor was even more rude, refused my request and hung up on me. I then went to log in to see if I had been deleted as a memeber and was not cancelled. I had to log in and email them, use their cancellation link and was finally canceled.

This company is a complete rip off, they are rude and will not refund my money for a service they don not provide. Don't waste your money or time with this company. You will be robbed!!!!

These are the people i charge that ripped me off:

Rob (Robert Miller is the CEO)

rob@enformion

eddie@peoplefinders

amber@peoplefinders

derek@peoplefinders

bryce@peoplefinders

zareh@peoplefinders

These are the people that make up mamagement for People finders.

They hook you in for $.95 for search but then you will find out they are debiting for credit card for $24.95 monthly until you catch. They do not inform you but just take your money. I have lost $150 to them for a $.95 search.

PeopleFinders.com claims to have current information in their reports. A trial membership costs $19.95. It said it would have up to date information on marriages, divorces, real estate owned and sold, business(es) owned, addresses and phone numbers, current and past, a full and current "background check."

I ordered a report on myself to see if they were legit. There was nothing on it for the past 9 years. It did NOT show marriage and divorce, property owned and sold, not even a current address, nor an address during the last 9 years. Some "relatives" were listed who are already deceased, but those deaths were not included.

For every category they said they would report on, except my birth and where I lived 20 years ago, this "report" said "nothing to report."

In the ordering process, the site asked whether I wanted "rewards" for an additional $2.50. I declined. They charged my credit card anyway. So I paid $22.45 for useless and fake "information."

It was a one time fee of 1.95 but they said i logged into my account and purchased another 24.97 in services. I called my credit card company and they called them on three way and would not give me back my money and said I knew it would cost more money for the same service i already got for a 1.95. Sent me to a voice mail of Jennifer Garcia which i am sure will never return a call

Peoplefinders is a scam. They bill you for something you did not agree to, and when you call them, they hang up on you. I had nearly $60 in charges I did not sanction, and they would have continued these charges if I had not insisted that I not be billed. Stay away from this fraudulent company.
