Pool Deals.com, What can I say other than this outfit is scamming people, providing a pool cover product that was NOT any deal as I am finding out.. The cover I purchased is the Ray-Maxx "Gold" series.. It is warranteed for 5 years I think, it lasted one season, delaminated, leaked, pieces flaked off and the cover became a $275.00 doorstop. The cover is so full of water that it is very hard to roll up it is so heavy.. Last season it worked great.. Pool was maintained at around 90 deg all summer..

Now I attempted to get the cover warranteed by Pool-Deals.com who is the "Authorized" retailer for Ray-Maxx. I was told to find my paperwork and contact the maniufacturer. When I asked the "Authorized" dealer to provide the contact for the manufacturer I was told they dont have that information since I did not pay the additional fee of $1.

.....99 to have them save it. What a scam, they know what they sold me but they insist on playing dumb. Please please do not have business dealings with this company.... You will regret it eventually..

Ordered winter pool cover. Advertising said water/snow would flow thru cover leaving leaves, sticks, etc. on cover. The advertising said nothing was needed to keep cover from collecting water. Advertising said pool would be clear & clean when the cover was removed in the spring. Not true at all!

Water in the poolo under the cover was clear. However, rain (don't have much snow in Houston) did not flow thru cover. Rain collected on top of cover, 6 to 12 inches deep. Water turned green, filled with algea & frogs. Pumped as much water as possible off cover. However, when cover removed, the remaining water, leaves, pine cones, frogs, etc. were dumped in the pool.

Advertising of water going thru cover was entirely false & very, very misleading. Now pool is a green mess, really a health hazard. It will require many dollars of chemicals and several visits by an expert pool service to make it safe to swim, all of which will cost a great deal of money. Pool Deals should at least pay the cost of cleaning the pool and be required to change their advertis
