THIS BUILDING IS OLD AND RUN DOWN. THE ELEVATOR BREAKS DOWN SO OFTEN AND YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE STAIRS!!
IT'S SO EASY TO FALL IN LOVE WITH THE VIEWS...BUT DON'T BE FOOLED. WE RECENTLY BOUGHT A HOME HERE FOR VACATION TO ESCAPE THE COLD AND DID NOT KNOW OF ALL THE PROBLEMS.
THE STREETS FLOOD AND THEY ARE NOW GOING TO RIP OUT N BAYSHORE DRIVE. TRAFFIC WILL BE HELL!
If only I had known! I had no idea how noisy this building was until I moved in.
For starters, you take the elevator up to the unit so you have no idea how noisy the elevator is until you are living in the unit and hear your neighbors going up and down. The elevator is OLD LIKE THE BUILDING. You can hear your neighbors talking in the elevator from every room in your apartment.
To make matters worse, you can hear your neighbors above you. And, they have no restrictions as to when work can be performed so there is essentially no control over noise what so ever!
The building next door is a townhouse, 3568 W Fairview St, Coconut Grove, FL 33133 and you cannot imagine the noise you constantly hear from this building. Cars pulling in and out 24/7. People talking loud in the parking lot. Loud music playing from their balconies. What a nightmare!!!
The units are cheap here, most people bought theirs around 500K so I guess you get what you pay for. The views are very pretty but if you LIVE ON THE B SIDE, you will hear so much noise. Buy on the A side of the building!!! So much nicer. No loud building next door and the views are nicer.
